Good replacement part, just make sure it’s the right one!!!
I bought this to replace the old cartridge in my shower. It took me three tries to get the right cartridge but this one finally fit. The ones they sell at the home improvement stores are for post 1969 fixtures and since my home was built in 1990 I thought that would be the right one. I was wrong. My house requires a pre 1969 cartridge like this one. It’s not a hard job to do but it took a little force to get the cartridge all the way in. Once it was in everything went back together as it should. It’s much easier now to turn the water on and off with the new cartridge.
