Here are some pieces that sound beautiful, yet are playable by the novice guitarist. If necessary, find a particular piece performed on YouTube, and then play that video at normal and slower speeds in order to get the sound of the piece in your head. Then play the transcription in the book steadily, but as slowly as necessary, until it becomes relatively smooth. Once you have a piece smooth, it is easy to raise the speed to normal.-As the student acquires proficiency, the arrangements can be filled out in pencil to provide fuller harmonization, but they sound beautiful as is.-Keep in mind the three T's -- Tone, Timing & Touch. Nothing too complex, but all the pieces are fun to play. The book overall is great for adding a ton of content at all once. Highly recommended.Skill level required ranges from beginning classical / fingerstyle through moderate.

I took a guitar elective in high school several years ago and have never played again since then. Now I’m trying to pick it up. I’m into classical music, but the classical pieces composed for guitar are usually way too difficult for beginners. This book meets my needs perfectly. The difficulty is within my reach.

A good addition to kindle unlimited and has many arrangements to play. I ended up buying to add to my library. Great on Kindle 10 and iPads. Harder to see on Kindle 8.

Challenging but doable for the intermediate player.

I’m attempting to resurrect my classical guitar skills after years of “work work work,” and I’d be interested to buy this. It looks to have an excellent selection of short, simple, but satisfying Baroque classics. I probably won’t buy it though, because it wastes a lot of space on each page with tablature! I’d much prefer to see more, slightly-larger staves per page.

Nice and useful book!

This is a large book with many familiar tunes by various composers from the Baroque Era. Fun to play and have that sound of a Lute or Guitar in a Balladeer entertaining in the great halls of yore., I would buy again if it became lost.
