This year, I got one of those inexpensive inflatable ring pools for the kids. It's 10' wide. I should have immediately purchased the cover when I saw one, but I waited and, of course, now a $20 cover is being sold for $50 by the scalpers.Anyway, I needed something to keep the bugs out of the pool while we're not using it. This is basically a big round black tarp with grommets to allow the wire to secure it to a pool over winter.Pros:It's round, like my pool!It's easy to cover the pool with. It's much larger than the 10' pool, so I'm not fighting with trying to make it fit.Cons:It is just a tarp. Not the most heavy duty either. I'd be quite nervous using it to cover a pool in winter - it seems like the freeze/frost cycle would cause the material to degrade rather quickly.But! It's the best cover I've found for less than $50, and it'll work.

Pool cover will never last as long as they claim, rivets will only take so much strain. Material does keep dirt out but weave will weaken from weather and will leak dirty water into pool.

This is overall a great buy for the price. It works just as stated. However, I felt the cover was just a tarp. It was the same exact material. I wish it was slightly thicker for better quality.

It's like they used dental floss to hold it together. I had to reinforce several seams to prevent the cover from falling apart.4. Useless Tie-Downs: The included tie-downs are an exercise in futility. They snap, break, or come undone with even the slightest breeze. It's like trying to secure your cover with wet spaghetti – utterly useless.5. Poor Drainage Design: The design of this cover makes it sag in the middle, creating a water pool instead of preventing it. It's like a rainwater reservoir that threatens to collapse under the weight, potentially damaging your pool.6. Total Lack of Durability: If you expect this cover to withstand the harsh winter elements, think again. It's more likely to give in to the first gust of wind or snowfall. It's like having a paper umbrella in a hurricane.7. Misleading Advertising: The product description and images are misleading at best. What you see is not what you get, and you end up with a flimsy, ill-fitting, and practically useless piece of pool cover.8. Wasted Money: This cover is not only a waste of money but also a waste of time and effort. I had to spend extra on a better cover to actually protect my pool from the winter weather.In conclusion, the Winter Block WC18R Aboveground Pool Winter Cover is an absolute disaster. Its poor quality, inadequate size, weak construction, and useless tie-downs make it a terrible investment. Instead of protecting your pool from the winter, it's more likely to cause you headaches and additional expenses. I strongly advise against purchasing this cover and suggest looking for a more reliable option that won't leave you regretting your choice.

Easy to apply, and lasted all winter without any issues. Will definitely be buying again when I need a new pool cover.

The cover I ordered is for a 21' round pool so I ordered that size. As the ice and water filled the pool, the cover barely covered the outside edge of the top rails. The next cover I order will be for a larger pool.The cover stood up nicely though. No tears from the ice or branch. Very durable cover, just make sure you order one or two sizes larger than your actual pool size.

Very durable. Easy to install. Easy to remove. Was impressed that it withstood the long rough winter we had. Great product will buy again!
