Durable-No Rusting
Very durable hanging kit. It has been attached to two wooden polls outside for over one year, and it has not rusted or come loose at all.

Good hammock hanging set
Hammock hanging sets are pretty basic... I hung one of these last night and it worked good... I already have another set and while I probably can't mention the brand name I'll say it is a more recognizable brand that charged more and it looked and felt identical.You need to hit a stud.. obviously... and that is the only hard part about using these.Wise Owl also makes great 12kn carabiners (good weight range for hammocking, super light weight) which is why I was willing to give them a shot on the hammock hanging set... I have several of those carabiners and love them. They are also so light weight I use them for other tasks that you would usually use a cheap carabiner for because you never know when you might need one that can lift your own weight. (almost 3,000 lbs of force) you can't use them for climbing because they are wire gate.. but great for hanging bear bags.. or to have accessible with spare rope for an emergency or to replace a lost one on your hammock kit... or to hang your ice spikes for your boots in a more accessible location on the outside of your pack. Spare carabiners that are weight rated are just far more useful than cheap aluminium $0.99 junk.

Broke when screwing in tree
I purchased this to hang up a hammock outside in between two trees. When starting with putting in the first screw, I was about halfway in and it broke. Talk about being disappointed. I had researched several different kits for hammocks and this by far was the best one that's why I purchased it. Maybe I just got a bad set or something, I dk. Now I have to research other kits and see which one to buy so I can hang up the hammock I purchased.
