Love the Kwikset smart key setups! They are super easy to install with great instructions to do so. It’s nice too because you can re-key your own locks. If you buy multiple kwikset locks, you can match the key numbers sometimes, but if you can’t you can just re-key them yourself to all match. The instructions for that part make it very easy as well. Kwikset is good quality, good security and they have a lot of nice decorative styles.

I ordered these for my parents. They were quoted double at a local retailer!!! I am sorry, but when mom and pop retailers try to rip people off and then blame amazon, it’s really sad and they spoil things for the true mom and pop retailers out there who offer genuine service and good prices.Anyway, it is such a classy, yet simple, lock. Super light but sturdy. It matches my parents’ ancient Tudor perfectly.

One of the easiest door handle installs I have done in a while. The Kwikset instructions were easy to follow, they provided extra screws to allow for various installation situations, and while I did have to use my Dremel to shape out a larger space for the deadbolt plate, the rest of the install/swap was very easy.The style and color are exactly what is pictured and work beautifully with our home, and also as a coordinating piece with the Kwikset Z-wave keyless entry deadbolt we have on another door.Including removing the old hardware, I was able to complete this swap in less than an hour, and that included my having to - as previously mentioned - enlarge an area for the deadbolt plate and also find the right tool to remove a hidden set screw from the old handle.

Very nice doorknob, feels sturdy and has a nice heft to it. Install was slightly more work than a regular knob, but we were prepared for that. Looks great on my farmhouse door.

Replaced an old handset on my new home. This looks great. It is dark bronze and very bold looking. It was fairly easy to install. The instructions aren't very good, but useable. I had to figure out a few items on my own, but it is pretty straight forward. One little problem. I purchased this to replace an old handle. It fit for the most part except for the both piece. This model has the correct dimensions when I did the research, but left out one important piece of information. The screw that came with the set was only 1 inch long. They wanted me to drill a new hole above the pre-existing hole. That had the 3 1/2 inch screw to secure the mount. But if you have a new door this won't be an issue. I am still looking for the right 3 1/2 inch #8 screw to fit my door. But the mounting is quite secure without the screw. I just want to firmly install the handset to the door. I would recommend this product to anyone. It is dark, almost black, and very high end. A great buy.

The product is great and with the rekey ability i do not have to deal w the get a new kay. The downside of things is that the outer amazon box was WAY and i mean WAY bigger than the box for the door handle and there was absolutely no packing so the items bounced around and things got repositioned to where i had to sort out what was what before i could do anything, Really like Amazon but they do need to get a handle on things like this

Looks great, easy to install, and loved how easy it was to rekey with the smart key feature.About 4 or 5 of our friends help us look after our cats when we vacation and they all have a copy of our existing house key. I rekeyed to my existing house key so we didn't have to have a stack of extra keys made.

Used this knob for my front door, which undoubtedly is set off beautifully by my rust paint. I replaced my old, ugly knob from that "other" popular manufacturer that stopped working if you can imagine that (knob would no longer press down, thus locking me out of my own home). This Kwikset matches my combination lock perfectly and adds a more classy look to my entrance. AND it was about $50 cheaper than the big box home improvement stores! Would highly recommend.
