Anti - Feathering Lip Base 15 ounce

I needed to find another lip liner as the one I had been using for many years (Wah!!!!) was discontinued. I purchased 3 different kinds and this is the one I decided performed the best. I tried using on my lips and going a little on the outside of the lip line as recommended, but I didn't like the way it changed my lip color (to my eye), so I just use it around my lips. I will continue to use as it does keep my lipstick from feathering. It also goes on smoothly and easily with a very light scent (vanilla maybe) that does dissipate.

FOR ANYONE WHO HAS SMOKED AND HAVE FINE LINES ABOVE THEIR LIP WHERE THE LIPSTICK BLEEDS INTO.......GET THIS PRODUCT.....IT'S GREAT

Irene G matte lip primer took me a while to try because I have so many brands of lip primers. I like this because it is a tube . Large size . Looks white but goes on clear. Must wait to allow product to set. I put over my lip line to prevent bleeding of liner. I like this product. Costs a bit more that others I have purchased but time will tell if I am faithful. Definitely worth a try.

I read many of the on-line reviews and was excited to buy a tube because so manypeople stated they thought it was really good. I almost ordered two tubes of thelip base, but glad that I didn't, as the lip base tends to leave a greasy residue onmy lips and it has not worked for me. I use a lipliner that helps to keep lipstick inplace around the lips, but I was hoping the Gari lip base would stop all feathering.Most lipsticks are very moist or greasy in texture, and when the lip base mixedwith my different lipsticks, the lipsticks ran through at the outline of my lips. When Iate in a restaurant I made sure to put the food back in my mouth so that food wouldwould not touch my lips but, sadly, the lipstick came off. The product that I have beenusing for years was waxy and really stopped the feathering. I would not buy this productagain, and I hope to get my money back.

Doesn’t work

What I disliked was, the description, was related to the topic of " stop the feathering from your lips "It is not true it does not stop it at all and even if you apply it a little bit above your lips, it turns White..Although I will state, it works kind of like more of a primer which I know it does state that in description. However it is advertised as stop your lips from feathering when you wear lipstick

Not worth buying

This was an unexpected treat. I really didn't expect it to work to prevent feathering as nothing I have tried before has done the job nor been so long-wearing. In addition, since I extend my lip line, this product smooths the two different textures and allows a more faithful lip line to be drawn. It was also unexpectedly perfectly moisturizing, not too wet but soothing to the lips. It has a soft, unobtrusive cocoa butter scent. Just a great product! I have been using it for over a month and am very happy with it.
