Great boots. I just ordered a 12 and should have ordered a 13. I wear 12, but not in these. I think steel toe boots just run small??? Unfortunately, I did have to return them.

Wearing these boots is not like walking on sunshine. Wearing them is like being the Sun.

This boot is hard to beat. I have owned 3 pairs of these boots. Been a while since I last bought a pair. Not sure if mine didn't have insoles in them or if thats just how they come. Regardless, I added some insoles to help with the nearly non existent arch support (I have high arches). If oiled and conditioned, break in is not too terribly long. Maybe 1.5 weeks but can be significantly longer is non softened up a bit. I have a 3E foot and the steel toe does not hurt or cut my toes. The heel is significant but keeps posture straight and still provides a great platform on all surfaces. Ill buy these as long as they make them. Ill likely restock before too long in the event they do discontinue them. They are the longest lasting boot i have ever worn as well. Only downfall is that they are heavy. You get used to it but in mud and things they can be a little too much to comfortably carry.

These boots are waterproof, warm, and protective. They are steel toed thick leather boots. The one fly in the ointment is that feet get smelly so I recommend oder eaters for the sake of your own nose as well as those who love you.

I have what one might call a love hate relationship with these boots! Second time round with this particular brand and style. I’m an industrial electrician. I walk between 8 to 12 miles most days. And my feet hurt all day everyday in these heavy ass boots! However,they have also out lasted all prepurchased boots and shoes. And a fork truck tried to smash my foot off once as well and the steel toe in these things, however heavy, saved my ass and made me a firm believer in the steel toe boots and the Carolina name! I work for living! I put these boots to the ͏Te͏s͏t! Keep up the good work ladies an gents at the Carolina boot company! A+

My husband does not like the quality of the shoe strings. They break easily. But the boots fit very well and he has used these boots for several years. One drawback is the sole and heel will seperate after a year or so. Otherwise he prefers this brand of boot to others he has worn.

I am going to be writing to a company for the first time in my life as these boots completely fell apart in less than 6 months. My daughter is a welder, and not very hard on shoes.The soles on the front of both boots came unglued and the grommets on BOTH boots all broke. Do NOT spend your money on these boots, as the quality is absolutely horrible!!
