First Day Jitters (The Jitters Series) Paperback – Picture Book, February 1, 2000

Parents, grandparents, and teachers will love this book. As someone with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, I read this book from a teacher's standpoint, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised with the ending. I loved it! The illustrations match the text seamlessly. I highly recommend this book.

This was the perfect book to get my daughter for going back to school. She was very nervous and we read this weeks before school started. It definitely helped her feel more prepared and less nervous. I would definitely recommend for any young children nervous about starting school.

I absolutely adore this book! I am a 40 1/2 yr. veteran teacher (retired) and I wish I had had this book to read to my 2nd grade students! I bought it for my granddaughter who is majoring in Elem. Education. I won't spoil the ending, but let's just say it's a BIG surprise. Reading it on the first day of school will bring a lot of laughs from the students and the teacher as well. I highly recommend it to all elementary/primary teachers. TEACHERS ARE THE BEST...and they guide the future through our children. Thank them!
