For an inexpensive curtain rod you can’t beat this one! It looks like a much more expensive rod after it’s installed.

Bronze curtain rod
Did not realize the end knobs are plastic, but from a distance you cannot tell. It works perfect for our office with 64 inch curtains and looks nice.

Cheap plastic
The only thing metal on the entire rod is the two brackets. The end finials do not even stay in the rod, I had to rig up some putty so they don't fall out. They look cheap also. I'm thinking about spray painting them in an actual bronze so they dont look like plastic. Or will just search for a real metal rod in bronze. Thought about buying these for all 10 of my new windows but not after buying the first two. Live and learn..

CHEAP
okay, I know this is cheap, but this is CHEAP!! It's made of light-weight plastic, which honestly probably isn't that awful once it's hung, but was really surprising to take out of the packaging. Post doesn't fit in plastic, either, which just speaks to bad quality. Not yet sure if I'll bother returning considering the price was low, or just putting up with it...?

Good for the price
For the price this is a very sturdy rod. The installation was easy, all the parts were there and it went up fast.

Got the Job done
Like a few people have said it is kind of flimsy But after installing it we will probably hardy ever pull the curtains apart any ways. For the price it takes care of what we need. It says to drill a 1/4" hole for the mounts I used a 3/16" worked very well.

The balls at the end were cheap plastic and the one was too small for the hole. I had to use tape to make it fit. I would have returned it but I don't know how to do that yet.
