Handbook Of Medical-surgical Nursing

It is the best nursing reference book compared to all the other handbooks that accompany huge textbooks. This little miracle succinctly describes major concepts; outlines them in readible text; uses boxes, colors & shading to get your attention; and for nursing students it lists appropriate nursing diagnoses. I sold or gave away $100s of dollars of other reference and test-prep books once I found this book. I still use it today when I need to look something up for reference while on the job. So many other textbooks or handbooks only have pieces of what you need/want and they make you buy another book to get what's missing (Ahem, "Incredibly Easy" series). For the money, you'll be satisfied like I STILL am with this book. Springhouse needs to keep updating this book!

Absolute best book to have for clinicals in nursing school and beyond. Super helpful and very well laid out.

I purchased this book at request of myClinical instructor and it is fantastic. It might be old, but it has great information that is perfect for care planning! I was able to get my care plans done in a timely manner because of this book!

Just what I needed to get tru the semester for info based on different disorders and was in an alphabetical order what made it spendid!

This is an excellent handbook of pathophysiology for RN students preparing for pharmocology. This reviews the systems of the body in a sympified but thorow manner. If a review or reference is what is needed this is the book.

i recommend this book for nursing students and writing careplans. this book is great because you can look up what you want by the patient's diagnosis, unlike other books.

Pretty good condition except the first two pages are missing if you are worried about dates it was published in 1994. I am curious to find out what else has been ripped out.
