I think this is perfect for my garden and love it but as with any livestock you need to put some effort in. Firstly the water quality quickly goes from crystal clear to green. Your going to need to shade It from the sun and add a UV filter. The glass needs cleaning twice a week and weekly water changes of about 20% using tap safe chemicals. I'd also advise air bubbles to put more oxygen in the water as the waterfall isn't enough and if you can afford it a heater for the winter if you live in the North like I do... its all worth it for me and my visitors are very envious
