Came on time, just the right size, just be aware you have to protect the wood with linseed when you get it as the wood is unprepared.

A nicely made product...a little too deep I think for our very tiny squirrels, so I have inserted an 25mm extra base, which seems ideal.

nice and sturdy, however it is made of untreated wood so you will need to oil or varnish it if you want it to last.

Good, practical nut box. Love the tin lid, as previous box got chewed quite badly. Also the squirrels like the little wooden platform to sit on to eat their nut once they have got it from the box. As it is made from untreated wood we painted it with some left over Ronseal shed paint. So far so good!

Glass broke first day by one of the squirrels I screwed a piece of wood in its place had to insert pieces of plastic to stop the rain getting in and had to spend another 20 pounds for linseed oil to preserve the wood not a good buy but It's OK now

Our squirrels finally worked out how to open the lid to this after a week. Such a joy to watch them getting some food in these winter months.

Edit....Such a shame. Had to return and have had refund issued. The squirrels eventually chewed all the way down the plastic so the food was just falling out. I really hope the company that make these boxes find a way around this problem because it’s a nice box, a nice idea, and was great initially. But they to be fit for purpose.We were initially very unsure the family of squirrels would work out how to get to the nuts and for a few days the box was ignored. So we placed a few nuts on the outside ledge and within no time they’d worked out how to get to the nuts inside the box. They visit a couple of times a dayand it’s lovely to watch them feeding. Plus, they’re leaving the bird table alone (mostly)Very pleased. Good value for money and good delivery time too.To add. The squirrels have chewed the plastic. If they go further the food will drop out!!

Product is good. It would had been better if the front panel was glued in as pidgeons learned to remove this and get to the seeds, however a bit of hot glue later solved this.My mistake was letting it get wet, the seeds started to grow inside and that ruined it.Make sure it’s covered as it’s not water resistant.Good product though if put in the right place

It does exactly what I thought however I’ve created an unexpected outcome with squirrels now over taking my backyard and shed. Buy with caution. 🤪

I don't expected this will last forever but I've so enjoyed watching the squirrels it was well worth buying.

Cette mangeoire est bien conçue et robuste. Elle attire les écureuils dans le jardin et permet de les observer de près. Facile à installer et à remplir, elle est aussi durable face aux intempéries. Un excellent achat pour les amoureux de la nature et des petits animaux !

The media could not be loaded. Wir haben das Eichhörnchen-Futterhaus auf dem Balkon angebracht. "Unser" Eichhörnchen hat am es am ersten Tag gerlert zu öffnen und komplett ausgeräumt.Das Haus ist solide verarbeitet, der Vorbau vor dem Häuschen ist groß genug das ein Eichhörnchen auch bei Anbringung am Baum davor verweilen kann.Wichtig, bei Lieferung des montieren Haus gibt es ein freundliche Anleitung das Haus mit Leinöl zu impreknieren. Das ist unbedingt zu empfehlen!Mit der natürlichen Leinöl-Impreknierung bleibt das hast fast komplett trocken. Aus Erfahrung würde ich hier aber nur ganze Nüsse füttern, da bei Körnern und Saaten die Gefahr groß ist das diese doch Feuchtigkeit ziehen. Wir haben unten eine Schicht Kieselsteine eingefügt, dann können Nüsse besser erreicht werden.Der Deckel schließt zuverlässig nach dem Eichhörnchen sich bedient hat.Wir haben sehr viel Spaß "unser" Eichhörnchen zu beobachten und das war jeden Cent für dieses Haus wert.
