I used this wire to replace garage door opener wire that was damaged by a mouse. It worked well but isn’t labeled too well on the insulation. There’s a ton of wire in this spool and I’ve got plenty left over.My garage door opener is an Overhead Door Company 1/2 HP

This product gave enough length for 2 garage door sensors. Quality material was as stated in description. Best Buy then buying at stores as it was cheaper for same item!

What more to expect, it’s a simple wire….It does the job, good that it exists, so you won’t need to buy a full system just because of a faulty wire…However it is nothing more than a regular thin wire, and I didn’t need all this length, at least not for a one sided replacement, therefore the price is a little steep.Maybe the seller could offer various lengths.I would have been extremely happy with a 3rd of the length and a 3rd of the price.

Im doing a garage remodel and painted the walls and ceiling a nice bright white. I didnt want to use the old cable which was looking really rough and was brown/gross. Home D. only carries a red/black wire so I hopped on here looking for a plain white one. This was used to connect the door button up to the garage opener. No issues, works great. One of the two wires is marked with a grey line so you can tell which side is which on both ends, not sure about that other reviewer. My only gripe is that the wire is not a true white, its a cream color, so its not exactly like i was hoping, but will be fine.

My experience...Used it to run 2 new lines to safety sensors and did not work. Ended up hiring a garage door repair service who replaced these new wires it with a heavier gauge wire. They said I had it wired correctly and not sure why it didn't work. They did not charge me for new wires...only the labor. Sensors work now. Btw...I tested it before securing these wires to the ceiling/wall, so I did not damage the wires.

I had an old garage door sensor where the wires had become so old and stiff, they just snapped off and my garage door wasn't able to open, except manually. As a straight forward review, this product showed up in perfect condition, and there was plenty of it to spare. Within a half hour, I had already removed the old sensor wires and had this new wire connected and stapled down in the garage. After getting finished, on the first button press, the garage door opened with 0 issue.

Worked as expected, was used to install my security cameras.

Was going to use this cable to relocate my garage door opener for a liftmaster side mount garage door opener. The cable is very thin (much thinner than what came with the garage door opener) - sufficient to provide power to my opener but not to actually work. When I cut the cable down to about 20 feet, it worked no problem. Very cheap cable that is too thin to be used in its full length
