The search for a solid youth football mouthguard continues. After being disappointed by the lack of durability of the Vettex mouthguards, I decided to try this one. Held up fine for 2 of my 7-year old's practices, but when I tried to reattach mouthguard to helmet for practice #3, the "anchor" piece of the attachment strap broke off! This attachment design is flimsy, and does no justice to the otherwise solid mouthguard. Battle, you need to do better.

This is built with the typically high standard of quality you come to expect from Battle brand products. The big difference with this mouthguard is that the tether doesn't come undone. Our league implemented a new penalty this year. If your mouthguard detaches from your helmet, you are sent off the field. This product is completely secure and the tether cannot come loose because it is a single mold product.

Found these online. Wanted to find a better mouthguard for my son for football. Read the great reviews and how much air they get with this in their mouth. And that it also protects their lips from those unwanted punches under the helmet! My son says he doesn't feel like he's suffocating and it fits in their mouth perfectly. No boiling necessary! My son is 14 yrs. old.

This is my son's favorite mouth guard. He's had several color's throughout the last 4 years of youth football. His mouth guard usually lasts 1 season, but several of his teammates go through 2 mouth guards a season. He says he can breathe/talk easier with this mouth piece because of the oxygen hole in middle of mouth guard. He's been wearing this since he was a new 8 year old until now, almost 11. He's only about 75 pounds. I put this mouth guard in my mouth, fits me as well. I love that these do not need to be boiled. We'll always buy from Battle

So likes it and he wears top and bottom braces. He does say the first few weeks of football his mouth was sore but now its fine. He loves the color and looks like good quality. Lets see if we can go the whole season. Havent found one yet that does. So had to add to this review and drop the stars from 4 to 1. Sons mouth guard has split after 5 weeks. Now have to buy another one. Not very sturdy.

When we first received this mouth guard my son was excited to try it on the field. He loved that he could breathe through it but unfortunately it lasted him literally 3 practices and 1 game before it broke apart on both sides. (the sides he bites down on in the back were completely shredded) What a HUGE disappoint this mouth guard turned out to be. The cheap ones from Wal-Mart actually last longer than this thing. We ended up going to our dentist and having one specially made for him with a case for only $15. I wasted $12 for the Battle Oxygen one from Amazon. Call your dentist - see if they can make one for you.

I bought this for my son. This season he has broken helmets (even cracked one on top, all the way through) but this mouthguard has held up perfectly. He is out for the season (he broke his hand) but this would have held up all season long, even if the team makes it to the playoffs. However, my local sports stores sell it cheaper, next year I will buy locally than on Amazon. I will buy this brand again.

My son loved it. We went though a few mouth guards before we purchased this one. Worth the extra money. The hole in the middle makes it easy to breathe and it didn't get chewed up at all like the mold-able ones. Highly recommend.

I've used this mouth guard for my last football seaosn. I love the battle mouth guards, this mouth guard itself is very comfortable and very durable. My only complaint is that I wish that the plastic that connects the mouth guard to your helmet would be stronger as it can rip easily if you have it hanging around loosely.Regardless, I would definitely buy this mouth guard again.

My son really liked using this mouth guard. Its strong and durable. The regular mouthguard break easily and get chewed up fast. This one lasted all football season. Will be buying again!

Excelente producto, mi hijo ha usado de varias marcas y tipos despues de 8 años jugando americano, pero este es el mejor.Prefiere este que tiene la correa pegada ya que el de otro tipo se safa a cada rato.

What a great guard. My son said was very comfortable and liked how his tongue was protected compared to other guards. Great coverage around the teeth as well. Totally recommend this guard. Would definitely buy again. Money well spent.
