Gateron Silent MX Switch 5 pin Transparent Case Black Red Brown Switches for Mechanical Keyboard Cherry MX Compatible

I ordered a 68-ct of the Gateron Red switches and they arrived in perfect condition, with only one having a slightly bent contact pin. Mine showed up in a zip baggie inside a compact cardboard box, shipped in one of Amazon's white and blue tear-open mailers. I have had no issues while using the switches, and they fit perfectly into the keyboard base I purchased them to fit inside. RGB transmission also isn't as big an issue as I thought, as the top housing is clear (though the bottom is solid black). Overall, worth the time waiting for delivery and cost of purchase. Perfect if you need to complete or upgrade a 60-ish% keyboard with Reds.

I bought the optical yellow switches because they're currently the fastest switches on the market. They feel great on my keyboard and really lived up to my expectations. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the bottom of the switches isn't see-through, so you can barely see the lights on my keyboard. The lights are really bright, so I was excited, because it looked super cool, but now they're super dim. Still visible, but definitely not as bright as it's supposed to be. But otherwise, they work great, and I still love them!

These are legit gateron clears. Another reviewer said they wouldn't fit in their outemu sockets, but they aren't supposed too. Make sure you check what switches are compatible with your keyboard first. If you do have outemu switches, you can clip or file down the pins to size. I did this personally but ended up breaking 4 switches, so do it at your own risk.

There isn't any dislikes for me. I live in California so it took around 16 days to come in, that's something I could complain about. Switches came in a plastic bag, not just a regular Ziploc. The Switches are scratchy, but that isn't the end of the world for me personally. Please note if you really want a quieter switch, the Silent Red switch is a lot quieter than the Silent Brown Switches. I'd recommend going to buy this from KBD Fans, if you want switches of any kind.

It’s really good value for what your paying and the switches themselves are really good quality switches, but I noticed about 7-8 of them had bent pins in the back granting them useless, but besides that, good switches👍

They aren’t a great value for the money but they aren’t bad keys either I prefer a thicker and chinked key press cause I fat finger keys and the led behind them are dulled and the warmth of the led lights is drown out by the black bases making it look cleaner but not my favorite

These pins are extremely thin so be careful putting them in your keyboard they bent very easily

Just put them into my new GK68X. I'm used to blues, so switching to browns on my new board was a really pleasant experience but I still hadn't tried linears, so purchase the silent reds. Really good feeling and are much much quieter than both the blue (obviously) but also the gateron browns that I already had installed. I wasn't expecting the world at this price, but I am definitely pleased with the product. Also, it was due in mid-October after ordering at the very end of August and it arrived on 12th September, a month early!

The switches are fantastic. They are extremely quiet and feel amazing to type with — so satisfying. They are very smooth feeling and are incredibly responsive for gaming.They are absolutely worth the money. I cannot fault them at all. Out of a bag of 68 switches I found ONE bent pin, which was easily bent back into position and every single switch was fully functional.Amazing product. If you aren’t sure whether or not to commit, my advice would be to go for it. Don’t get me wrong, they are not “silent” but they are quiet, satisfyingly quiet. With a nice “thocc “ to them (keyboard dependent of course) Just buy them.

Saw them, bought them, said it would come on the 4th-10th but came almost a week earlier than stated, I got them in a small box in bubble wrap, the switches were inside a bag, opened it, looked at them and no pins were bent so far, putting them into my keyboard none broke, put a switch in wrong and the pin didn't snap it only bent, good quality, typing on them now, hit a new typing speed, overall very good feel, however the black shell dosent allow pcb rgb to come through sadly.

Good feel to these switches, but the black plastic base blocks light from the Keychron K6 rendering the LEDs mostly invisible.Not a fault of the switches, but I've put the old switches back until I get a keyboard with better optical output.

I think this product is amazing. It does work just like I wanted it to do. But another thing is that this came WAY before it was meant to! These switches came in 8 DAYS, when it was supposed to come in April! I don't know the cause of this but I am not complaining. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
