Same as the cake my mom made for us growing up. Couldn’t find it at the store anymore, so happy I was able to find this!!

Out of date when I received them.
The cake mix boxes had out of date expirations on them. They were very shady looking. I ended up throwing them away after looking at the mixture in a bowl. The description is also wrong.

Delicious!
Really nice coconut flavor that is not overly sweet, fake tasting, or cloying. We made it with the box directions which turned out great. However, you can also go to the Duncan Hines website and get Dolly's ingredient sub outs for a different flavor profile. I plan to try that next. For the frosting we used whipped buttercream. YUM.

Review for order but haven't made yet
I ordered this and thought I was seeing things for the price. I got a very good deal on a 12 pack of this. Got a complete box for a very good price and it was shipped super fast. I will review more once I actually do the baking

Great product but terrible description of quantity
Duncan Hines has a great product. Amazon has a faulty option for the bundle quantity on line and 24 count per bundle . Upon delivery it was 2 per bundle. Customer service was contacted about the discrepancy but the associate could not understand the problem, even after sending 2 different screen shots that stated 24 as the quantity. After 2 phone calls with 2 different associates, sending screen shots on 2 separate days, and talking to a manager, I was refunded my money as a compensation for my time. DO NOT TRUST the listed quantity in bundle promotions!

Shipping was disastrous... cake mix everywhere!
I got this cake because I don't have enough time to make my own but my husband loves tres leches cake and I know he loves this version. I would like to however to issue a warning to anyone else that is wanting to buy this in the future and I will know this also for the future that this does not travel well when I got it there was cake mix everywhere and I opened it on my chair and I got a good dusting. Four stars because the cake is going to be amazing but the shipping is to be worked on...
