These do create a lovely smoothing appearance on my very large thighs however they do not have a huge effect on the tummy. They are however very flattering for the waistline and I would definitely recommend if you are not buying just to reduce saggy tummys!

I liked the item but XXL does not fit size 22/24 the label says you need XXXL to fit size 22/24 which unfortunately is not stocked.

I bought this because I have a large hernia on my thigh which needed support. I like it - it's comfortable to wear. Maybe would like a bit more constriction for my thigh but on then whole am satisfied.

Hi, I am size 10 UK and I ordered medium size. When I tried first it was a bit tight to fit in, but easy actually. Then I was thinking shoul I order size smaller, I decided no, because I wasnt sure if it must be like this or not. I was wearing it athome to find out how they feels, was fine, I was wearing for 5 hours maybe..and my legs started to itsch. Then I am massage therapist and I wear size 10 tunic and trousers, when I put these on and put my trousers, I was dissapointed, because I saw the lines from legs, so I think this is good under the dress or for not tight clothes, it is not invisible, so you cant wear it every day. I tdont think it does a lot for body, not a big shaper or something, just the feeling is that it is tighter than usual. so.. It looks nice but for this price I think you need to search someting else, better. Or use it only with not tight close and dress. Thanks.^^

As other reviewers have mentioned, the waist really digs in creating an unsightly bulge over the waistband. I have a small waist for my hip size, so I can't imagine what the waistband does to someone with a smaller waist-hip ratio. They are definitely not suitable for all outfits and look best with loose at the waist but snug at the hips clothes.The shorts apart from the diamond shaped satin at the front is semi-sheer, which I did not expect.The control level on the shorts is light or medium. They did not compress the tummy area as much as expected and most of the compression is at the waistband. Because of that, they are not the most comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and the sitting exacerbates the bulging at the waist.For the price, I feel like there are probably better shaping shorts out there.

I unfortunately cannot wear this item yet. It fits , as described. However , it digs in to the fat ... so on top there is a roll over the piece , and on my thighs it dents in a little too. It would be perfect for under a dress , if you don't mind that the top half may have a significant dent.Otherwise , the material is great quality , it really does hold everything in. I purchased this for my post partum body. If you are buying a smaller size or you have less upper body fat , this garment will be GREAT for you ! I can't wait to loose a littlest more back fat so I can wear it.

I got these for a bridesmaid dress that was a bit too tight on the thighs. I'm usually between a 10 and 12 so I got the large. I was worried that it would be too big. These are very fitting. Tight on the waist to thighs with a great firmness and very comfortable. There is a bit of a "sausage roll" look at the bottom of the shorts with my thighs (I have thick thighs so I expected that). I highly recommend this.

Have bought these in store, so I knew quality was there. Just be aware the band around thigh can show if your pants are tight
