I own a few Tilly hats. The oldest was made in Canada, the newest in China. However, the quality is spot on with each of them. Without reading the label, I highly doubt that anyone could differentiate where the hats were produced.I've read dozens of reviews where people are primarily focused on where their hat was produced, rather than the actual quality of the product. For the most part, those same reviews also reflect negative opinions as to the cost of a Tilly hat now that they are produced overseas. "The value of anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay."That being said, I don't mind spending $75 - $125 for a quality hat that's going to last a lifetime. Sure beats spending $25 - $50 on a hat that lasts a season or two at best. Try tossing a cheap hat into the laundry several times a year. I'm pretty certain you'd never wear it again after the first wash. Tilly hats don't shrink and their vents don't rust when washed. You get what you pay for.

I wear it everyday playing golf. Fit is good and comfortable. It has a lifetime warranty, too.Several of my golfing buddies wear Tilly hats, because they last and wear well.

Despite being shipped the wrong color — light gray instead of the dark gray I had ordered — I love the hat. It’s not cheap but it looks a million times better than all the floppy hiking hats by other outdoor brands. I looked around a lot and tried many on. I even ordered cheaper ones from Amazon first but they arrived all bent and creased. When I finally got this one, I knew it was right and worth the price! A couple of tips: if you don’t know your hat size, find a local store where you can try hats on. That’s what I did and then knew which one to order. I also did it with and without a ponytail since I wanted to be able to wear it both ways. The other tip is the straps are confusing and don’t come with any instructions so I searched YouTube and found a good explanation of how to adjust/set the chin strap so it doesn’t blow off your head. It worked and it’s pretty clever — just not at all intuitive!

I do love the hat. I don’t love the shoestring in the hat. The shoestring is not good quality. Where the excess string was tucked into the velco quickly started tearing apart.I have worn Tilley hats for years and never had this happen.

This hat fits great and I love the way it looks. Wear it when I play golf and it protects my ears and face from the sun .

Tilley is a quality hat, so glad Amazon has available. Beautiful color, exact fit and is multi purpose. One to have!

I was first a little reluctant spending a 100 dólar to buy a sombrero but it is worth every penny. Lightweight, lots of shadow and snug on the head doesn't blow of easely. And they look really good.

I have a 20yo Tilley and man is it perfect! Out of the box this one felt flimsy and shapeless. As I looked it over they did not even sew the center point in line. Not worth $100, maybe $25 at the local Walmart. You lost a customer Tilley.
