Can be used on hob
Excellent tagine. Cooking can be started on the hob prior to putting in an oven. One pot cooking at its best.

Cooks really well
I keep using it to make tajine as my husband is Moroccan and the food comes out delicious, you can really tell the difference from a normal pan. Cook food at very low heat for a long time and it will come out tender, do not use on high heat. Needs to be looked after well, after cleaning it with gentle dish soap, heat up with a few drops of oil so that it absorbs it and maintains the lustre. It also has a rim that avoids too much splutter as the steam fills up inside, but nevertheless I have to put the lid in such a way that some of the heat can come out. Very happy with it.

Lovely Tagine
I made a lovely aubergine and apricot tagine yesterday and shared some with my mum. Does exactly what it's supposed to.

Overflows too easily
Been cooking solely with tajines for many years ... after the lid broke on my last one I thought give this one a try ... main problem with it for me is ... once cooking , however low you have it , the fluid doesn,t return back down into the pot like it should , but sits in the rim and bubbles over , making a real mess of the stove ... seems a bit of a design flaw to me ... so am on the lookout for something else .
