It’s absolutely gorgeous and I got a heck of a deal on it around Christmas. Almost paid half price. It’s worth the retail if you ask me. It’s always a head turner.

I’m a pretty serious collector. Two Rolex, Omega Speedy, Omega speedy racing,, Bell & Ross Ross, Cartier, Longines, two SevenFridays and some tool watches . I always wanted a field Hamilton. This is a clear trade off. This model in automatic w/chronograph is $1400.The model as shown is identical in appearance with exception of sub dials and is 1/3 price.Pros — very similar to $1400 mechanical in appearance, size and functions of Chrono.cons— band is horrendous. Be ready to upgrade. I went to a $25 aftermarket and it looks amazing. Also too many polished areas. Need some satin or beaded sides of casing to offset all the shine.Big con — it’s a quartz movement. That’s the price difference. I know the mechanical has that connection with the user and quartz can be frowned upon by hardcore wearers, but for 1/3 price…I’ll live with it. No brainer. I totally dig this field watch. 41 mm lug to lug a little larger than a true field watch of 38 or 36. Regardless the 41 does take up so,e wrist real estate. I have a 7” wrist.Great piece of Hamilton history for a fraction of price.

Hace un tiempo no queria mas relojes de bateria y de hecho e vendido un monton de relojes, de bateria y automaticos. Este reloj me encanto como se ve; aunque queria la version automatica chrono que lleva el mismo movimiento del intramatic decidi no comprarlo sobre todo porque no quiero lidiar con el mantenimiento. El precio de este es muy bueno por debajo de $400 rebajado, tiene acabados excelentes y lo que mas me impresiono fue el movimiento, aunque se espera que sea bastante preciso por ser de bateria no decepcionaron. En alrededor de 10 dias no se ha movido ni un segundo adelante o atras. Muy contento y no hay q hacer mantenimiento, solo cambiar bateria cuando lo necesite, el strap de cuero es bastante comodo aunque diria que un poco sensible, es posible que compre uno igual en hamilton.com para tenerlo de repuesto. Muy buen reloj
