Check the facts before you buy
These are nothing more than tiny "swamp coolers" which will NOT work at all in areas having high humidity. Under absolutely perfect conditions, they may lower the temperature in the immediate vicinity (within 5 feet) 20 degrees, but will also increase the humidity within that area, virtually negating any cooling effect. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY PRODUCT OF THIS TYPE.I am a retired college level HVAC (HEATING, VENTILATION, and AIR CONDITIONING) instructor, recommending you buy on facts, not hype.

You can use it as a fan. Don't expect this to cool down your room. It is a joke.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY.
Do not waste time or money. You will need to put fan 2 inches from face to feel the dull air emanating. I just threw out $60.95.As per seller: Return will cost you lots of money and waste your time, you can send it to your family/friend, maybe one of theirs just fit or like it. We can refund 15% of this product as a compensation. And you don't need to return.

It'll cool a seated person. It will not cool a room.
Basically it's just a small fan that blows over a reservoir of ice water to create a cool breeze. Put it on a desk and it will cool a person seated at that desk. I got it so I wouldn't have to run the A/C on half my house when I'm working in my home office, and for that it does work. But don't expect it to cool an entire room.

Small but blows cold air would recommend putting cold water from freezer in for colder air.
