Works great, even though used.
This refurbished product was easy to install and works great in my pond. I saved a hundred to 150 dollars and installed it myself at age 84.

Great fountain pump.
I have a large fountain that takes 2 of these pumps. I think they are high quality. These come with a 3 year warranty but I just replaced mine after more than 10 years. I bought the same brand of pumps and hope that the quality is still the same. The new pump seems much lighter.

So far so good
My 14 year old pump died this week and I had to replace it. This pump shipped fast and was a great price. Installed seamlessly with many options for pipe sizes and positions. If this one lasts as long as the last one, I'll be a happy camper.

Great replacement pump for my 2,500 GPH pump
My first Aquascape pump came with my micro-pond kit about 10 years ago and it ran great until one day it just stopped. It was 2,500 GPH which was perfect. Unfortunately they now only make 2,000 and 3,000 GPH models. I opted for a little less flow and it's been fine. The waterfall isn't quite as loud and the flow is good so I think I made the right choice. Keep these pumps clean and they'll last a long time.

A Great Pump With a Short Lifespan.
I installed the Aquascape pondless waterfall kit in my yard in September 2021. The kit came with an Aquasurge 2000 pump that does a great job of delivering 2000 GPH to the top of the 5 foot waterfall. The pump lasted a year and a half of daily operation 12 hours a day, 24/7. The pump failed in June 2023 so, not quite two years of service. I purchased the replacement exact same pump off of Amazon for a little over $300. It ran fine until last week when the impeller/rotor disintegrated. This one lasted a little over a year and a half. The prospect of spending $300 every year and half on a pump does not thrill me. Consequently, I'm going to be testing alternative pumps. I ordered the Vivosun 3000 off of Amazon and it will be delivered tomorrow. I'll write a follow up review on that pump under that Amazon order. The conclusion on the Aquasurge 2000 is that it is a great, powerful pump but, in my experience, doesn't last much more than a year and half. It's an expensive pump that might be priced out of being an economically practical pump for 24/7 use.
