Camellia Navy Beans, 1 Pound

We used these beans for the Navy Senate bean Soup recipe and they were perfect. They do need to be soaked over night.

I like that they cooked up nicely and provided me with a great soup.

These were good. I actually had to find some navy beans since for some reason the stores around me didn't have specifically this type and i needed them for a recipe. They were good and seemed to be good quality as well. I thought you would get a little more for the price, but it was my own mistake for not acknowledging the weight on the description. If you can't find navy beans around you, these are good but otherwise you will likely find a better price at the store.

Camellia beans are the absolutely best beans I've found. We've been traveling around the country for six years in a motorhome and found these in Louisiana and they're sooooo creamy. All others never cook all the way through and end up "crunchy". One tip: make sure you get them fresh and that they haven't been sitting on Amazon shelves for months on end or you'll get "crunchy" ones because they've gotten old.

This is a good quality bean. Often when you purchase beans, especially in bulk, you have to pick out bad beans or other “surprise additions”. These were all beans and great quality. I appreciate the thick packaging.

Tiniest pound of beans I have ever seen in my life. You really need to comb through description when buying on Amazon. At almost 14.00 a lb. I was an idiot to buy.

These are not "great northern" as it says in the picture. They say "Navy (pea) Beans" and they are very small beans. Great Northern Beans are much bigger beans - probably twice the size of the beans I received.

They are beans in a bag for crying out loud . what else is there to say?
