Wentworth PewterStandard Jacobean 1 Pint Pewter Tankard

I received the mug, in all it is as described. I have noticed either chips of tarnish near many seams. I have another Wentworth mug and it had a much higher quality finish? Not sure if chips or tarnish is normal at seams? Can anything be done to clean up finish?

These are lovely items, very well made etc.When I opened I thought this looks a bit small for a pint. So I measured by volume and weight and to an behold, absolute maximum capacity of 540ml, but that is full to overflowing. To be a legit pint it needs capacity around 600ml to allow 568ml of beer + room for the head.Bit sad really as cannot pour a full pint into this at home.

It doesn't leak and looks good as no one else has there own mug in the tavern, Butcher's Hook, Thornbury, where I consume rather too much real ale on a slightly too regular basis. (Whoops, far too much information)

Exactly as pictured. Bought as a Christmas Present and had it engraved and I was so pleased with the result!
