I bought this pitcher for our week long vacation in Florida. Everyone knows how FL water tastes. We normally go through at least a case of bottled water per day on vacation in our family of 4, so decided to try this to see if we could reduce our bottled water consumption. It worked so well. Even my wife likes the water out of it and she doesn’t even liked the filtered fridge water in our house (which tastes great to me and our two sons). We are now back home and she is drinking the pitcher water instead of bottled water! That is a miracle in itself!! Am definitely impressed with the quality and price of this pitcher compared to others. I had no idea about the NSF certifications and what they meant before researching these and found this filter filters out as much things as the much more expensive filters. Has 4 different certifications I believe and most in this price range have 2. One of the complaints I see is the lid is hard to get off without removing the filter reservoir, well that is by design I believe. It allows you to keep the reservoir full and still pour filtered water without spilling l and the reservoir will continuously filter more water until it is empty. It’s not that hard to get the lid off as some people are making it out to seem. Pull the lid and reservoir out slightly, put a finger on the reservoir to hold it in olace and the lid pops right off!! Will definitely buy another if this one ever breaks and am definitely buying more of these filters for when it needs replaced. If your on the fence, buy it, you won’t be disappointed!!

This pitcher is so easy to use, helpful to prep water very quickly and easy to store. I can put it on the counter or in the fridge. The indicator light will flash when the filter needs changing and I have gotten 4 months out of the filter use. The water that comes from this tastes good, no scent - and my sourdough prep works fine with this too (you can't use chlorinated tap water with sourdough). The pitcher is a good size, though I wish it were a little larger.

Thought I was getting a Britta... Sadly I didn't read the description close enough when placing the order. I wanted to keep it, but I had a bunch of Britta filters and they were not compatible. Had to return.

It works great! I used to always see hard water rings around the inside of my dog's water bowl. Since I switched to this water jug, those rings no longer exist. So it is a great filter bottle, and I use the amazon filters with it.

This water filter pitcher is simple, effective, and does the job. The water tastes clean, the filter lasts a good amount of time, and it’s easy to use and refill. Great value for the price.

We bought this Amazon Basics water filter pitcher in order to buy less bottled water. We could definitely tell the difference in taste of the water. It was a better taste than our city water. It even tastes better than some bottled waters. The longevity of the filter is impressive. It’s a quality product and I recommend it to have good tasting water.

Dos not filter out everything. Left a dirty residue in the bottom of the pitcher after filtering. The top is hard to remove to refill with water. I would not purchase this again .

Large filter pitcher. This works great and does exactly as advertised. The replacement filters are reasonably priced. A great alternative to the more expensive brand name filter pitchers.
