Taste like a mix of Cajeta and Nuez
It tastes good but the Cajeta flavor is not fully there. It taste like a mix of Cajeta and Nuez. Still good.

Deliciosa y fácil de hacer
Probé esto en mi último viaje a New York, compré y me traje para Puerto Rico ya que acá no las hay. Las amo y si le ponen nueces mil veces mejor.

Ok, but contains unnecessary aspartame
I wanted to like these more than I did. Hot chocolate with black tea, and slightly thickened with cornstarch - yum! However, it is sweetened with added aspartame. The flavor would have been better if it was all just regular sugar (which it does contain, so I'm not sure what the point of the aspartame is).

Nice warm low-calorie alternative sweet drink
I'm always low-key on the lookout for sweet, satisfying treats that don't require paying a high calorie price (I mean, who isn't?)I've been idly interested in the Mexican/Mayan drink Atole every since hearing about it years ago. What I hadn't expected was for the powdered mix (of this brand at least) to add only 30 calories for a 1 cup serving. This does NOT include the milk, which can of course add significantly to that amount. And it does taste at its best with (say) 2% milk, even if that pushes the serving to ~150 calories. Fortunately it was also very good (in my opinion) with cashew milk (my milk substitute of choice), which makes for only 55 calories combined, which is pretty great for a satisfying warm sweet drink, when you're in the mood for that. The flavor is pretty mild. I got the chocolate variant, and it's not a powerful hit of chocolate. Or of anything really -- but it's smooth, and faintly chocolatey, and sweet, and that's all right by me.You could probably froth this stuff up and make it even better (I haven't been bothering, because I like how quick and easy it is to make with just a microwave). I also liked experimenting with adding a little cinnamon and vanilla, as I gather are a traditional way to prepare atole. Each of the packets makes several 1-cup servings of the beverage. This is gonna last me a while. Which I'm not sad about.
