It is very convenient to make it only takes 3 minutes and it is very tasty. You can add some more broccoli or anything you choose it works well by it self as a side dish or you can add something to it and make a quick meal of it .

I recently tried Pasta Roni's rice dish and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! I have loved these Rice-A-Roni cups since they first came out a few years ago. One of my favorite things is that you don't even need a microwave. Just loosen the top, pour boiling water on top, cover it back up, and let it sit for a few minutes. This makes these cups perfect for those days I'm feeling chained to my desk and don't have the time to go downstairs for a few minutes to hit up the communal microwave. I also love that the seasoning is already on top of the rice and we no longer have to use those little packets.I like all of the flavors in the variety pack, even the jalapeno cheddar. And I'm not usually a fan of anything spicy or that has jalapeno in the flavor description. I like the convenience of having a variety pack sent directly to me that I can easily transport to work if I so choose.My only complaint is how the company packs them into the box. And this is not an Amazon issue, but an issue with whoever packs them at the source. My last couple of boxes have arrived with them so stuffed into the box that at least one cup is inedible because it has been open and spilled all over the rest of the box. I'm not sure what's different recently from when I first started buying this pack, but it's a bit frustrating.Otherwise, I love these!

This is one of the best items to have at home. Getting home late and need to eat something quick but good and filling, well this it. Work on the sides you want with it but not have to worry about the rice bcus it takes little time to get done and it's great tasting too.

I love Rice-A-Roni but the big box is in my refrigerator a really long time. These cups are perfect one size, one side , for one person.. the rice doesn't seem quite the same because it's just one minute in the microwave it's almost like Rice-A-Roni couscous, lol

Not quite as good as the boxed version that you saute in butter to brown first. Kind of mushy and crunchy because you have to cook it longer than it says.

Literally add water, stir and heat, but watch your water level. One cup makes a surprising amount of rice.
