Good Cook Can Opener, Classic

This is the easiest can opener to use that I’ve ever found. Unfortunately, after a couple of years, the handles got squashed together from use & made the cutter too out of alignment to work. However, it is so good until that happens (and at the price it is), I can live with replacing it every 2-3 years, so I ordered another one to replace it!

The GoodCook can opener is very easy to use. I use it about 2-3 times per week to open cans of olives, tomato sauce, tuna fish, canned fruit...it works perfectly with very little effort. It is easy to grip onto the can and rolls smoothly. It leaves a smooth rim without any sharp edges. When done I just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. It is light weight and easy to store, and, bonus, it even has a bottle opener built in.

Esta marka siembre ha sido de mi total confianza, x su calidad, y precio, lo q me gusto mucho de este producto es lo ligero y práctico q es, me gusto muchos q este abrelatas es super liviano, especialmente para mi mamá q sufre con dolor en sus manos. Y algunos de estos abrelatas son tan pesados para ella q aveces nesecita ayuda pero con este no, me sorprendió xq ella estaba tan contenta!!😁

Works smoothly (replacing a VERY old one of same brand) - but this model needs a larger diameter wheel, because it will not cut through the lid on cans with the higher rims - skips in and out of the metal even if the handles are held very tightly together. Also slips more easily than the old one, which even after a decade or more of use still has sharper gear teeth than the new one.

This can opener did not work from the first day we bought it!

This is a basic can opener that does the job. Nothing fancy but sharp enough to get through a can, and handle is easy enough to manuever without slipping all over the place.

I am really enjoying using this can opener. It feels good in my hand and is easy to use. It glides across the top of the can when it cuts with little effort. The handle is a little at an angle which makes it so much easier to use. It wipes clean easily nd is ready for it's next use. I love it when a product does what it is designed to do!
