Different is ok.
My two boys 9 and 6 loved this book. They were glued to it the whole time while I read. They got sad at some parts, and then happy. They loved how even though the little ghost was different he found a way to fit in and be cool in his own way.Even as an adult I enjoyed the read, it’s also beautifully illustrated. This will be a Halloween staple around here. It’s a must have for your book shelf at home!

Adorable
This little ghost is a little diffrent than all his other friends. But he is excited about Halloween because he will finally fit in for a day. In the end the little quilt ghost overcomes his fears and finds right where he belongs.I buy books out of my child's age group. This book keep my 9mo old entertained

Great self esteem lesson!
This book is a really sweet story about a ghost who is different from his family and friends. In the end he finds his differences are what makes him most unique. I love the way he learns his lesson. I plan to make a quilt to go with the book!

Beautiful book, lovely story
I bought this for my nephews (6, 4,1) after seeing it recommended. It really is a lovely story with beautiful illustrations. I made my older kids listen to it before sending it as I really wanted to read it!The meaning helps kids to see that our differences are what make our lives exciting.Added bonus that the ghosts are very friendly and so would help kids who might be scared by them.

The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt
LOVED this book! Ideal for gift giving along with baby/children quilts or gifts. It is fun, imaginative, delightful and appealing to quilters, families and children. I definitely plan to gift this one with baby quilt gifts but this first book will reside in our family library. I love that it is Canadian. Both author Riel Nason and Illustrator Byron Eggenschwiler make a good team. This book couldn't be more appealing. Great for teachers, librarians, new parents and grandmas who want to share something precious with families!
