STV Motorsports Clutch Alignment Tool for Polaris RZR 900 RANGER 900 (Primary Bolt .570, Distance 10.500, Trans Shaft .970) - MADE IN THE USA (PT4)

Measure your input shaft for your transmission. 2016 RZR 1000 S had 1.075 input shaft at the second set of splines. It was not the same as the 900 S, though the shaft had the same part number according to the Polaris parts person I spoke with (Someone was wrong). This tool did not fit, but was able to bore out the hole to fit the shaft. Pro tip: use a large step bit and leave a little to fit tightly around the smooth portion of the shaft. Space out the bar from the crankshaft appropriately, so it still bolts down square. It does get pretty thin at this point, but it worked very well. I understand not everyone will have the tooling to do this, so order carefully.

I questioned svt if PT2 was for a 2017 rzr 900 s and they confirmed yes. Ummm no. Not even close guys. Not sure how it can be this hard. There’s over 50 people also who have the same problems fitting. Maybe y’all would get better reviews if you just shipped all 4 to people.

Company says it fits a 2015 RZR 57p. It does not. The hole spacing and transmission shaft hole diameter are correct. The primary drive bolt hole diameter is too large by .030. This is supposed to be a precision. Alignment tool. It is not precise. It will get you close but not perfect.

Here is yet another review of someone that purchased a tool from them and it did not fit. They actually told me some times Polaris puts in "surprise" transmission shafts so it's not their fault! That is a flat out lie. Only wish I could give them 0 stars for my $40 piece of scrap AL. Even worse is the time it cost me on my project.

Do not buy this tool. Go with a better brand that mounts on the two shafts as close as they can get. This tool sits so far back that there is too much play.

Works perfect. Lines up the tranny and motor easy. Seems durable and should last

I feel that it would be a better tool if it went over both shafts not just the transmission shaft, works more like a back yard fix tool than a quality tool.it will not hold its position correctly so it can be torqued in order to get the best alignment results. good for it's price but not very accurate.

Got the tool after a long shipping wait. Didn't fit! Previous to buying this I called them to ask if it would fit my machine. Gave them all the details and they sent me a piece that didn't even work. Super upsetting.
