I've always wanted a cute two tier obento box that was affordable, and I love this one and am glad I bought it. It's a children's obento box, so the chopsticks that come with it are child sized but I have tons of chopsticks anyway so I just use one of my pairs of adult sized chopsticks. Again, it's a children's obento box so it's small compared to most adult sized obento boxes, but I love the size. I put rice in the top tier and then I put the side dishes in the bottom tier. The tsuki usagi design is super cute and it's super easy to clean, I just rinse it and stick it in the dish washer. There is a seal to put over the top tier to seperate the tier from the decorative lid. It is leak proof, I've put saucy spicy ramen in it and it didn't leak, but don't put soup or other extremely watery foods in it, put those in a thermos, obento boxes aren't for putting soup in. The furoshiki bag is also super cute and overall I'm extremely satisfied with this authentic obento box and I recommend it.

This is a lovely bento box but I should have paid attention to the dimensions. It is very small. Better for a toddler’s lunch than an adult’s. My bad.

I really love this bento box. I looked around for a while until I found this one. It's SUPER cute and comes with a matching bag. At first I was slightly disappointed at the size (see pictures). It's about the length of my hand... but when I actually used it, it had more than enough room for multiple onigiri and another section for fruits/vegetables etc. It even comes with a cute little removable sectioner so you can have two little compartments in one box! I just got it and have only used it once, but it's perfect. The size helps with portion control and saves me from wasting food/overeating. It's really easy to clean as well.

I don't get the reviews on how it's small...Sure it looks small to American standards. I made a rolled omelette with two large eggs/some milk for fluffiness (it fits). I made half of a large sausage with some green onion too (it fits). It was enough to fill me up. The next day I even made a full cup of rice and almost all of it fit (I really packed it). It's made to fit beno style lunches because it is a bento box. 🤦🏻‍♀️*If your unhappy with it there are larger ones. Just pay attention to how much fit in. It's listed.

This bento box is the cutest lunchbox ever! Amazon changes prices every second, but I paid $14.60 which is a steal for this little guy. Like many bento boxes, it is not leak-proof, so sauces and dressings should be packed in separate containers. The thin cotton bag it comes with is adorable. The plastic bag it comes in says "Made in China" but the product is stamped "Made in Japan" and the tag on the cotton bag also says "Made in Japan." The only reason I gave this product 3 stars is that the product dimensions (3.35 x 8.19 x 3.15 inches) are way off. The bento box is much smaller than this. Actual dimensions are closer to 2.875 in. wide x 6.75 inches long x 3.35 inches deep. The seller needs to update the specs to accurately reflect the product size. The volume is 300ml in the lower container and 340ml in the upper container, which is slightly wider. It's a great size for a small lunch, a snack, or a traditional style bento where the food is really packed into the container (think rice, tamagoyaki and dainty veggies). I also have a large Umami bento (can hold 40 oz/1183 ml) which is almost twice the size of the Rabbit Moon bento. If you want to pack a big American lunch with sandwiches, salads and larger portions, the Umami is great. If you are interested in portion control, packing lunches for a child, or just want the joy of eating out of a little red container that absolutely slays, get this cutie pie bento box.
