I'm so happy with the choice I made on this product that I had to get on here and wrote a review. This product worked 100% better than I expected on my cement countertop I made. I'm glad I did not pick the other sealer! Thank you for this awesome product. It's not shiny, just leaves cement actually smooth and withstand cat puke, water etc .. I love this

My brother created concrete countertops for me 6 years ago. He passed away 3 years ago, and I have been afraid to try to reseal them, in fear that I would somehow ruin these countertops that he created for me. Look at how amazing this sealant is working! Completely blocks the water from absorbing into the concrete. We had to sand and clean the concrete really good. And then applied 4 coats of sealer. Steve, if you are looking down on this, sorry dear brother, but they're even better now! But I still love you!

We had our first BBQ with our new home made concrete top and I thought I’d test how heat resistant it was before firing her up. I heated a frying pan until it was red hot and smoking and place it on the side of the worktop (somewhere not visible) held it there for about 45 seconds and didn’t get any burn marks, peeling or discolouration. Very impressed!Also, I have tried other sealers on smaller projects and it can be difficult to get a good finish. This sealer only took 30 minutes to apply all the coats needed and the surface came out really nice, with no streak marks. Instructions were clear and simple, and I just followed them and it worked out great. Still got some left over and will definitely buy again for future projects, well worth the money.

I spent a considerable amount of time reviewing concrete countertop sealers and came up with this or Cheng's. I went with this one based on its ability to withstand heat. I sanded my countertops down to 1000 grit then applied this with a 4" high density foam roller. The instructions say 2-3 coats, but I applied closer to 8-10 coats. The concrete continued to absorb coat after coat. Only until I hit about coat #7 did it appear the concrete was not readily absorbing the liquid and that it was drying in an even manner on the countertop. I did another coat or 2, then did the water test suggested in the Cheng's video to ensure complete absorption of the sealer. I hope this helps someone - 2-3 coats were totally inadequate in my application (I poured my countertops using Rapid-Set mortar mix, not sure if that matters).I was disappointed with the lack of instructions, and there isn't much additional instruction material on their website or youtube. I have been doing concrete for 20 years, although new to concrete countertops, so I have a familiarity with concrete. Not sure of the other reviewers applying this in 30 minutes - it took me about 4 1/2 hours of total application time and dry time to completely seal the countertop.I will revise my review after I have

Worked very well on our kitchen worktop. Great matte finish, no streaks and easy to follow instructions. Very happy with it and still have some left for future DIY adventures.

I used over ten coats, and the concrete countertop still stains with water and grease. Poop.

We used it for our kitchen worktop and also a DIY project and were very pleased with the result. This sealer was very easy to apply and has a great matte finish that we were searching for. Also very economical, plenty left for the future.

I bought this to reseal my concrete countertop after removing the old sealer. Per direction, one bottle should have been enough and given me the 5 coats that per instructions was supposed to be sealing my countertop. First coat soaked in quickly, the next 4 coats did also, which worried me because it did not seam to seal. Per instruction, the following coats should have used less and less product and 5 coats was supposed to be enough to get a seal. I did not get a seal with 5-6 coats and ordered another bottle. Used up 2/3 of the second bottle for a total of 8-10 coats and only got a partial seal. It never gave me a protective layer. I spilled a quarter size of coffee, which soaked in, versus beading, and it stained my countertop 🙄. I tried cleaning it with mild soap, but it took bleach to remove the stain.Very disappointed in this product. I bought it because it promised heat resistants along with all the things other products promise.
