Good Design!
Very good design, not only a globe for learning, it can also be used as a desk lamp at night, the globe is clear, and there are representative animals from all over the world, my daughter likes to watch it and discuss with me.

Good first globe
At first I thought this was a nice first globe for kids, it's a bright colour and the light was great. It was meant to introduce my 3 year old to earth, planets and space. The writing is tiny but it wasnt a concern as she cant read yet. It was just for visual purposes. However the globe would not freely spin on its axis and fall over if not held down first. It would frustrate my daughter. I could either try wd40 or return it. So I returned it. Probably not such a problem for older kids. Also because of its size, landmarks were not really positioned correctly. More like close enough wherever there was room. Stonehenge was up on the west coast of scotland! I'm liking the Montessori globe with just the continents marked out alot easier for her to take in.

Great learning tool
I got this small globe for my 7 years as a birthday gift. He loves it, and talks about 7 continents and 4 oceans a lot now. It is a great educational toy. The High-definition printing technology makes the world globe map easy to read. The LED soft light provides convenient reading at night. Also, the plastic surface is smooth, safe for kids to touch.

The look is deceiving.
I was really excited about this globe. It looks nice in the pics, the description mentions the word durable which is a must for anything intended for children, and it lights up! Well, it broke within an hour of my son opening his gifts. The pieces that mount the globe to the base cracked and we were not throwing it or dropping it or anything of the sort. It would still stay on the stand if you didn't mess with it to much. Over the next few days of looking at the pictures there were a lot that were in inaccurate locations and that was obviously annoying. I'm returning it and will not purchase again.

Not recommended for children or anyone with a heavy hand
This broke almost immediately. This globe is super fragile it broke almost immediately after my kids got it. The material is cheap and light. One dropped and it will be disfigured. Do not recommend this for children or anyone with a heavy hand.

Love it!
I bought this for my 9 and 5 year old kids and they love it! I was a little worried it would be too small, but it is bigger than I expected. Perfect size for kids. It also lights up way brighter than I thought it would. My kids were so excited when I turned it on! Overall really happy I got this.
