Great buy!
This was so inexpensive, I bought it as a throwaway if it didn’t work. I was blown away by the speed of set up and the accuracy. It turned my circular saw into a track saw. That is a big statement, but my cuts are very accurate and I have used this many times since the purchase. I highly recommend this as a very price effective alternative to the expensive track saws. I really wanted an excuse to buy a track saw. Now that I have this tool, I will not be buying a track saw. That is the bad news, but the good news is I can use the money saved to buy some other tool. I did make a little jig to help with the setup. I cut a piece of wood the width of the edge of my circular saw to the blade. I draw the cut line, lay down the straight edge, place the jig on the line, move the straight edge against the jig into place and clamp it. I do the same with the other end and ready to cut. I thought about making the jig for several weeks and finally took the two minutes to measure and make it. It made things so much easier and faster. Also improved accuracy because it is now dead on.

Good investment.
Not a tool one needs every day, but great to have on hand. Sturdy construction. Easily trimmed a blade width off of an 80” door.

Straight edge guide works really well. I really liked it and I recommended.

Better then newer ones.
This is so much better than the newer straight edges they have in the stores now. You can use the Thum screws to tighten together and will work much better than having to use a screwdriver to tighten. Just bought another one for my other house.Thanks again for still selling this.

Best money spent!
Why pay more, these get the job done with ease. I don't know how I survived without these. Comes with C-clamps that worked great. For the DIY builder, this is all you need for straight saw and router cuts.

Straight and accurate ripping with a circular saw
Not owning a track saw, I have found this guide invaluable for ripping plywood and other long cuts that are too much for my small table saw to handle. You can really get accurate and very straight cuts using this with a circular saw.
