12 Months to $1 Million: How to Pick a Winning Product, Build a Real Business, and Become a Seven-Figure Entrepreneur

Normally this is not a book I would pick up based on the title alone, but the framework behind it is solid. It’s clear, compelling and inspiring, and it may be one of the rare books I read twice.

Most business/entrepreneur books are useless but this one has solid information. While my business is profitable, I am not near the $100,000 a month yet so this gave me some ideas on tweaking what I am doing to increase sells. I like the easy to read, step by step guides and what has worked in the author's business and his students. One thing I haven't done much is work with social media influencers and really promoted a product before the launch, in some ways, I have been lucky with profitability but I want to do better and this book is a simple, informative and good guide book for starting or improving a business.

Pros: Straightforward, and very practical advice for a beginning (or experienced) entrepreneur. I love the way Ryan outlines a plan that can actually be followed in a linear fashion for specific results. His writing style is enthusiastic and empathetic, and every time I finished reading, I felt inspired.Cons: Not much of a con, but there is some repetition of the steps throughout the book, which I appreciate but some people might think is fluff. I do wish there were more examples of people who built businesses using his plan and successfully sold them. Since reading his book, I got into his podcast and that’s where he actually talks to people using this plan.I’m excited to hear more from Ryan and see what he comes out with next. I’m also looking forward to putting this plan into action and seeing how far I can take it. I highlighted so many things, I’ll probably just read it again as I go through the process of building my business. I was a little hesitant to spend the $15 for the ebook, but I don’t regret it for a second. The advice in it is easily worth thousands if you put it into practice. Thanks for sharing your experience and life lessons learned!

Great book, I just wish he dove even more into how he built his business. Good advice but in terms of e-commerce business, very general. I want to learn more how he started his supplement business as that is something id like to do as well.I didn’t know what product I wanted to do at the start but by the end a definitely know that supplements is what I wanted to get into.

This book really provided a step by step roadmap on how to pick a product and successfully sell it online. I really enjoyed the read and the authour has repeated this process several times and has been successful with it. I am interested to try out the methods that were shared in this book, but like with everything else, easier said than done. I have been selling online for a while now, but have a completely different business plan so it was interesting to read about other strategies. Would recommend if you are looking to get into online product selling.

I am a 50 year old Social Worker by training, but I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Have tried numerous opportunities, but haven't gone all in on anything out of fear and apprehension. What Ryan has done with the words in his book is alter the course of my life. He has put together a blueprint for success, and I feel prepared to go all in. The work ahead will be challenging, and the journey is still daunting, but with these sage words in hand, I feel empowered like never before. Thank you, Ryan. I'll be back in a year with an update!

The title sounds cheesy and unbelievable. The book is anything but.Moran and his business partner built an online business that reached $1 Million in a year and have used the plan laid out in this book to do it again and again and to help others do the same.The book is well written and inspiring. Most books like this are filled with fluff and bragging and little to no substance. That is not the case here.If you’ve thought about starting a business online, even as just a side hustle to bring in some extra cash, this is an excellent resource for you.

Admittedly, the title caught my eye while scrolling through Kindle titles. I wanted to know more.IMMEDIATELY.And I am so glad that I honored that impulse. Ryan is witty and an excellent communicator. I appreciated his honesty and candor about his own personal experiences—complete with the doubts, criticisms and uncertainties swirling around in his mind. It was truthful.There are multiple experiences he shares from entrepreneurs he’s mentored and his students. And to read the timeline and actionable steps—literally a step-by-step plan and approach to follow and execute is refreshing.Thank you Ryan.Thank you Matt.And thank you to all of the entrepreneurs on this journey.I’m.All.In.

The book is awesome! I read it back in April and literally wasn't able to sleep for couple of nights because it got me so fired up. Had to drop it on day 3 in order to calm down get some sleep! I suddenly had a vision of what I wanted to do and accomplish and had this book by my side ever since! I had some other books on the topics of entrepreneurship and marketing to read as well, and it took me a while to round it all up because of my chronic busyness and the fact that I have a regular job. I'm in my early forties and have been dabbling with various entrepreneurial ideas ever since I was a teenager, but pretty much little to nothing came out of it. But this book has changed so many thing for me - I have just finished making a personalized blueprint for my idea based on this book today, and I'm starting with the execution right away, literally after I write this review.The book is a step by step guide on how to decide to whom and what to sell, and what one should do to maximize the chances for a successful outcome. The way Ryan has put it together is really great. It's full of real life examples, and coupled with story of Ryan's own journey it's very compelling. Another great feature is that it's also a very easy read, using everyday language, you won't be bored for sure.

Padezco de insomnio y suelo leer libros de finanzas o no ficción para agarrar sueño, pero las ideas presentadas en este libro con planes de acción completas y casos de estudio de personas que sí han logrado montar sus ecommerce y alcanzar dichos números al término de un año (¡o en menos tiempo!) lograron que me quedara más despierta por las noches scrolleando en kindle hasta que terminé el libro. No podía soltarlo. Estoy segura de que más adelante terminaré comprando la versión de tapa dura para tenerlo en el librero. ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo!Gracias por la cubetada de agua fría Ryan. Ahora sé que no debo cerrar la mente a nuevas posibilidades. :)

One of the best business books about ecommerce out there!

Achei bastante interessante o livro. Contudo acho que poderia ser mais específico em certos passos, mas de qualquer forma o autor é um expert na área. O livro vale muito a pena ler especialmente para pessoas iniciantes que querem tornar se empreendedoras. E o livro mostra um caminho bastante claro sobre como é possível fazê-lo apesar de não ser um caminho livre de dificuldades e que exige bastante persistência e resiliência. Resumidamente, o livro tem enorme valor e deve ser lido e relido porque há muito a apreender e principalmente para criar o mindset de um empreendedor.
