Can the controller be turned off when using POE?

Hi Derrick, The answer is yes to your question. The PTZ controller consist of external AC power outlet, it installs separately to your network switch. So even though your PTZ cameras are running power over POE. The controller is not affected if you turn it off.

It means the controller must be hook up to the camera system. and you could control the camera by controller. You can choose to connect the whole system to the internet or not.
