It's a sturdy dresser. The wood is a little soft so could get some dings, potentially. It's all solid wood except for the bottom of the drawers and the back panel. It took several hours to put together but looks great and true to the color pictured. It is mostly out together with dowels so I would recommend getting a bottle of wood glue to ensure stability.Recommended tools: hammer, driver and drill

Overall I LOVE the finished product, it’s a beautiful dresser and a great size. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing it and was expecting the build to take awhile, but I love putting furniture together so I wasn’t too worried about that.The instructions were actually pretty clear, what I didn’t expect is that none of the screw holes were predrilled. There were holes for the dowels, but all of the screws needed to be manually screwed into the wood and the instructions recommended not using a drill so as to not damage the wood. That made the process a LOT longer. Some of the screws went in pretty easily, but most of them took a lot of work to secure and it was not easy trying to hold all of the pieces exactly lined up while screwing into them.On top of that, the top piece of my dresser arrived with a split in it. Thankfully their customer service was great and actually sent me a whole new set for free.I’d say if you go into this with time and patience it really was worth the work and looks great, the quality of the wood is pretty good too.

I love the style, I am into MCM furnitures so I ordered a lot of this style here on amazon. This dresser was a pain in my hands to put together trying to screw in every single bolts and nuts! My hands are still aching even after a week of having this dresser. Another thing is the back panel is so flimpsy made of a very thin, cheap material. Today as I was trying to open one drawer the handle part broke! It cracked!!! Very thin material. I followed every step even the applying wax to the glider to slide open and close easily. I think it is not worth the money. I wanna get a refund on this if I can. Totally wasted my time and money.Update:I contacted the seller and told them about my encounter and they politely asked if I can take photos of the damage and send to them. They responded quickly and asked what is more convenient for me, a replacement or a refund. I went for the refund because I dont wanna go through building another one of this. My updated rating is for the seller and how they handled the situation quickly. I will still stand with my first review that you will need to be patient with assembling this item. I love the style and everything just not the built and quality of the item I got.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations of the quality, but I am blown away! It looks fantastic and the wood is very sturdy. It looks great in my apartment! I would very much recommend this.Putting it together was a breeze as well. Just make sure you have an electric screwdriver. This was one of the easier products to assemble.All in all A+++!!! Such a good quality for the price.

This is a horrible item. The screws sent were incorrect, too long and not self driving. I had to improvise on assembling it. The top coat of varnish is coming off already and the screws for the drawers are too long and puncture through the side walls. The foot screws don’t fit in the hole and stripped out while assembling it. I will be throwing this away. I will not waste any more time disassemble it to ship it back I have also already thrown away the box. The nightstands are no better. They sent a replacement since one was broke upon delivery and the new one is a completely different color as the first one.

This is solid wood and sturdy. Take your time and read the instructions. Once it's together it is a great piece of furniture. Im so tired of crappy particle board and composite garbage products, this dresser is old school amd awesome.

So, to be clear, you will have to assemble EVERYTHING for this dresser, every. single. little. piece. And doing so is a huge pain in the ass.That being said, the dresser looks great put together and I am very happy with it. Fully assembled it’s not particularly heavy, which makes moving it much nicer. But it will only be as strong and well assembled as the customer makes it.I also bought a similar nightstand from the seller which was much easier to assemble and looks great!
