It now works perfectly as both a coffee table and a dining table, thanks to the ability to raise and lower it with ease. It supports the table even when it’s fully loaded with dishes and drinks. No wobbling or instability at all. It has also last outside for 3 years and counting!• Perfect for DIY Projects: It was easy to integrate into my custom table design. The 35-55 cm range offers great flexibility for different uses.• Quiet and Reliable: The piston action is smooth and silent, with no jerky movements or resistance. It feels like it’ll hold up well over time.• Multipurpose: While I used it for a table, it’s clearly versatile and could work for various DIY projects or as a replacement for chairs or stools.What Could Be Better:• Installation Could Be Tricky: If you’re not familiar with how gas lift cylinders work, the setup might be a bit confusing. I wanted to change my chair because it was too low until I discovered this bigger cylinder.It was easy to install once I finally managed to get the old one out (use proper tools to make it easier on yourself). So far it performs great and it’s actually much higher than I originally expected so the chair can go way past the desk if needed even though I use it on the lowest setting right now.It seem to be universal so it would probably fit on any regular office chair

Seems well-made; good value for money. For my old IKEA Verkram office chair, it sits higher in the pedestal than the original, so it no longer goes as low as before, which suits my longer leg-length. It now goes high enough to use at a breakfast-bar, but would need added foot support.

Works well, good height range,Now rather disappointed, the inner piston moves around, and creaks and bangs.Already needs replacing.

I purchased this product to repair a chair that I was ready to throw away. I had an office chair with a shorter cylinder that didn't work with my desk, and I was considering buying a new chair with a longer cylinder. However, I came across this product, which solved my problem perfectly. I've been using it for a few months now, and it has saved me money by allowing me to keep my old chair. The installation was very easy. I also have another chair with the same type of cylinder, and when that one fails, I will definitely buy this product again. I highly recommend it!

First impressions the item appears well made, and it was a perfect fit to replace the strut that had failed in my chair. However, this strut failed within a month, it began slowly sinking and I had to replace it. I wasn't very happy as anyone who has had to remove one of these struts will know, they do not come off easily.

Works just perfect. Easy to install. unfortunately I had the finest idea to try a cheapest one first from ebay which just cost me time and 12 pounds. Then I bought this one and I’m very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend
