Paris Tack’s line of slow feed hay bags has been meticulously designed, tested, and improved over the past 15 years in order to give you a product superior to anything else available on the market. Our unique web front hay bags are designed with cross stitches at every intersection and bartack stitching at all stress points along the top, sides, and bottom of the bag. This hay bag also features our exclusive Super Tough Bottom: a grid of reinforced nylon webbing that will never rip like solid or mesh bottoms. Our bags are built tough from premium materials and are designed to last for years to come. This hay bag is designed to be a great everyday feeder for most horses and other animals: it measures 21x7x25" and can hold about 2-3 flakes of hay. This hay bag has 1” square front openings which will prevent hay wastage and slow down their rate of consumption, but still allow for frustration-free feeding. This premium hay bag also includes a 6-month limited manufacturer's warranty offered by Derby Originals.

1 inch holes
I bought this slow feeder bag for my miniature horse. It was hard for me to find this type of a bag with a 1 x 1 inch opening. This is my first time using one and wasn't sure what to expect. Apparently I only checked on the size of the holes and didn't pay any attention to the overall size of the bag and found it was much bigger than I expected. I have had it a couple of weeks now and I love it. It seems to be holding up well and the overall size turned out to be great. The hole size is just what I wanted. The only thing I was not sure about is the strap that secures the bottom. I worried that my little guy would get his leg caught up in it so I drilled a hole through the wall, put the strap through and secured it tight on the other side of the wall. The strap does not hang loose and the bag is secured so that it doesn't flop around when he pulls the hay out. I will probably purchase another to put out in the dry pasture. I do recommend this product. It works well for me.

Not good for rough eaters but 1 inch holes do slow horses down
I have two of these bags and although one of my horses has done well with it, the other one has torn up the back of his bag after a month of use. The part of the bag with the webbing is holding up fine. This horse is accustomed to eating from slow-feed bags and never managed to tear one up before, although he has eventually made bigger holes in some of the slow feed nets. This bag has the smallest holes of any bag of this type that I could find, so it really slows down the eating, but would be better if it were webbed on both sides instead of solid on the back. I am going to try and get my husband to fix the torn part, but I would not recommend it for a horse that is a more aggressive eater/ easily frustrated. I have two norwegian fjord horses and have had numerous slow feed bags and nets over the years of different brands and types. I have really only had this problem with one other bag, which was with a different horse and was a nibblenet, also with a solid back and the same sort of thing happened.

Great for slowing down those greedy horses. Durable and fits a lot of hay.
Regular slow feed hay bags don't slow my horse down much, but I can stuff this one full of hay and my horse can eat all day long without running out. Sturdy construction and good quality.

Wish it lasted more than a month
Only holds one or two flakes. Easy for my horse to just eat out of the top. In less than a month, the bottom of the bag ripped completely.

Holes are to small
The holes are so small that my horse can hardly get the hay and gets very frustrated.
