Q: Hi! percale wrinkles always. i obviously don't mind wrinkles! i'm looking for the 'cool' feeling ? do these feel a bit cool crisp? thx!

Percale irons to make a much crisper look than a sateen weave, but you are right that they do wrinkle more than the sateen. I think these look great when ironed.

Q: How wide is the hem on these pillowcases?

Sorry for delay. I was away. Hem is about 1 inch.

Q: Are these okay for fabric markers? Will it bleed if I put in dryer to "heat set"?

Since they are 100% cotton, I doubt they will bleed. Washing them with bleach will probably make the marks lighter over time.

Q: Is the pillowcase opening at the end or in the middle on one side/

It's a normal pillow case open on the end. Shams are usually the only pillow covers that have a slit in the middle. In my experience.
