Duchess Deluxe Pecan Pie - 12/3 oz.

I have loved these Duchess pecan pies for years, but they are really hard to find locally in Deep West Texas. These arrived fresh and in pretty good condition. The filling is tasty and creamy and the pecans on top are still crunchy. I love the light flakey crust to offset the super sweet pie.

Reminds me when I was a kid walk down to corner store and get these little pecan pies and aDouble Coca-Cola !

Damn things are delicious!

this is an affordable thanksgiving pecan pie option, the pecans are very chopped, and the filling is rater sweet but good for a commercial produced product, it was reminiscent of the sweetness of a Snickers candy bar.

I was not A big fan of these pies after trying them. The filling is thick and creamy and the piecrust was a little gummy. To me, they were barely sweet enough and again I just wasn’t a fan of the filling under the top layer of nuts. I will not be ordering them again unfortunately.

They are a little bit messy to eat because the crust falls apart but they are delicious, and perfect if you need a little Energy boost.

I have an excellent sense of taste, unfortunately, and these tasted more like chocolate than pecan. I like chocolate, but not in my pecanpie. I also got the sense that they were getting stale as even the gelatin sugary filler had very little flavor. I have had many mini pecan piesbefore and these had to be the poorest tasting ones ever. If I am going to consume a bunch of calories I at least want them to taste good.Some of them had damaged crusts, but that is to be expected from normal shipping trauma. I did not count off for that, but the low gradeis strictly due to the inferior flavor.
