Fougera double antibiotic first aid ointment (Bacitracin Zinc and Polymyxin B Sulfate Ointment USP) - 1 oz

My mom hit her head on a box at a gas station and required 5 staples in her scalp. The hospital gave her some of this ointment to use daily. It was like magic! The wound healed very quickly and with no infection! I looked carefully at the packets from the hospital so I would know what to request if I had stitches and learned it could be purchased without a prescription. We now use it for minor cuts. Just like with my mom's scalp, it helps wounds heal very quickly (at least in our experience). The company from which we purchased it on Amazon was great. The product came very quickly and was in new condition in the original box.

I was told by the emergency room medical team to use only the Fougera double antibiotic first aid ointment. I promptly went home and ordered it on amazon and discarded the other one that I had in my medicine cabinet. I have never looked back. This is truly a wonderful product.

I had looked everywhere for a tube but nowhere could I find at stores....It has to be this brand, there are other brands but they don't work...Thanks for caring... The product itself is excellent. The reason I gave it only 4 stars, is the quality of the tube itself. It becomes extremely difficult to release the ointment when it gets near depletion. It turns into a hard substance that penetrates your fingers as you squeeze, to no avail. This is a situation where it is impossible to begin squeezing the tube at the bottom & attempting to move upwards to release additional product. It cannot be done.

I have purchased this several times, I am very pleased with the way it works and the seller, product arrived on time and as described by seller.Recently recommend it.

this is the best antibiotic i've used. there's no sting and the tube is adequate for any minor use. well worth it.
