TCP/IP Protocol Suite (Mcgraw-hill Forouzan Networking)

Has a wealth of knowledge on networking. Used it for Comp Networks class. Still a good reference.

You can't blame Amazon for the quality or contents of this particular book. The book was part of my Master degree program class, so I had to purchase it (as I believe most of us are in this situation). I believe Amazon was one of the only few who not only had the book, but was able to get it to me within two days using my Amazon prime status.

Used this book for a class. Didn't care for the class, wasn't a fan of the book. Good thing it was a rental.

In order to really learn and understand computer networks this book should accompany other acceptable books as well. A great read but also know that it is not all encompassing.

This text has great information if you want to understand how computers communicate with each other. we use the internet everyday without thinking how much human attention has gone into the design of this incredible network of networks. Despite some grammatical flaws, the book provides good information for the reader who wants to know about the "nitty-gritty" details of networking.

Good textbook, this was the text for TCP/IP class at University of Denver. I supplemented with other online material for the course.

This book has some good explanations of current networking technology. The end chapter practice problems were not very helpful though.

Rented this book. Its great for reference. Over 1000 pages makes it a bit overwhelming... wish I had time to read it all. Its got exactly what you need to know about everything TCPIP

Not pleased since I thought I purchased the Kindle Edition yet it says it's not compatible with my Kindle PaperWhite.Am I missing anything or is this the way it is.Maybe I didn't read all the fine print but it does say Kindle Edition.- Ernie Adsett
