I’ve purchased 3 sheep skin rugs , a fox tail, etc…but I wanted a real fur blanket. Keep in mind ..all real fur items shed. I am in love with this..even my husband agreed with the purchase (and he doesn’t condone shopping ventures lol) . I shook it from every corner, and then used the brush over the blanket a couple of times . It’s soft, cozy, and warm. It’s definitely only the size of a throw blanket..so don’t buy it anticipating it to be massive .I do not have any complaints on the quality or the seams were the pelts are stitched together. It’s actually very nice.But that’s another thing- I seen a lot of complaints about seams… in order to make a blanket from fur ..unless it’s a large animal..they have to be able to piece together the pelts..and if you look anywhere else online..real fur blankets are over $300 sooo this is a steal of a deal.

First, I have to say that I loved this tan throw enough to go ahead and purchase the amber one. I also have to say that the gushing descriptions by the seller regarding the level of quality of this item are sooo overstated that it would be comical if weren't so far from the truth.Pros: * Since it IS genuine fur, it's the warmest material that I've ever personally experienced. For me, you just can't beat fur when the weather is really cold. * The pelts are so soft and so supple I assume they were tanned well. * The colors in the tan throw are very nice and the colors in the amber throw are really beautiful. * The size is generous for a throw.Cons: * As I expected , they were shedding some so I brushed them with the included brush until it wasn't picking up any significant amount. I ended up with a decent size ball of fur from each one. I brushed carefully since it often hung up in the threads connecting the pelts. * The piecing together of the pelts was pretty rough in spots but not beyond what was acceptable to me for the price. * They both came with a strong, fairly unpleasant oder so I aired them out for a week or so during the day. Still retained too much of the smell so I misted the front & back of each throw with Zero Oder, the best oder eliminator I've ever been able to find. Much improved but still a little too strong so I misted them with Febreze and aired them out for a few more days. Just a tiny bit of residual smell left but so faint that I expect it to be gone soon.I haven't had them long enough to comment on the durability of item but overall, the throws appear to me to be a very good deal for the price and I will probably purchase the gray one too.

So I have been purchasing different blankets for various different reasons some for me some to give as gifts because really fur blankets are perfect to get heat yet breathable soft to the touch and nice to cozy up in anyways I have seen more than a few natural fur blankets and unfortunately this is the worse yet I understand I'm asking for a large blanket maker from small pieces but this doesn't look luxurious doesn't feel luxurious it is scratchy and has many sharp pieces from the end of the pelt being rolled up on the end and instead of them being sewn into the the inside were sewn together on the outside so it is hard and stiff pieces throughout the blanket also the fur is thin and the blanket itself is very thin very light much lighter than all of the other blankets I've gotten. Idk if this is a rare occurrence but it is not as advertised not a luxury blanket. They did provide a brush the type you see for gently getting the fur off of your pets it is too brush out the creases from being folded and shipped also to help remove any loose fur which is nice and to bring back the body of the fur but the brush gets caught on all of the improperly stitched seams and the fur is much too thin to have any fullness or body not at all like the pictures like I said this may be a freak occurrence but it's definitely one of the downsides to purchasing online you're relying on the vendor to be honest about the product that they're trying to sell the vendors rarely ever going to be like oh this product isn't as great as I thought it was and put it out there saying that and pricing it accordingly no they're going to try to make their money off of products at a still marked up price that they should have returned in the first place. My experience this was a bad purchase on this blanket and I'm bummed out about it like I said this one was a gift and I was already late due to a shipping error from a different company came here because I knew I could get faster delivery but it cost me in quality. Live and learn. Amazon has an amazing return policy for situations just like this. Anyways I was hoping to give this a great review but can only tell it like it is and this isn't great.

Very nice but you have to put in dryer on no heat mode to get all the lose hair out! My lint trap was totally full in like 30 minutes. Extremely soft! Worth it for the money.
