Water conservation is the technology that can be developed in semi-arid region because other technologies cannot be effective unless there is water available for growing crop. Soil and water conservation techniques recommended for agricultural land includes mechanical measures like furrow opening, agronomical practices, vegetative barrier, runoff harvesting and recycling. soybean was subjected to various land layouts by opening of furrow at different intervals of rows.
