I don't know what these people are talking about saying it didn't fit as expected or smaller than advertised. If you measure properly and refer to their measurement chart it's spot on! I just made sure the measurement would fit over their heads and made sure the chest measurement was within the adjustable strap range. They fit perfectly and the neck does not stretch but you don't want it tight around the neck anyways as it is meant to fit more around the base of the neck. The material quality seems very good and it's got a padded feel to it so it's very comfortable especially for my 16 year old Chihuahua. Don't order from how much they weigh or what breed they are. You need to measure since not every dog breed will wear the same size!! Bottom line, make sure neck measurement is a size that will slide over head easily and make sure adjustable strap measurement is within fitting range. If biggest adjustable size is what you need you may want to try the next size up. You don't want the neck TOO loose though so keep that in mind. Also, last thing I would like to mention is if you have to go a size up be aware the neck may be too big and they may be able to get their legs through the front while playing and rolling around. Measure! Measure! Measure!! 😁

I bought size xsmall for my 5 lb chihuahua. The chest fits perfectly, but the hole for the head is just a bit too small. I'm able to get it on him, and once it's on it seems comfortable to him. Getting it on requires him to squeeze his head through the opening.I also bought a size small for my 10 lb rat terrier. That one fits her chest perfectly, and the hole for her head is fine. This one is way too big for my chihuahua though.

Cute and she told me it is quite comfortable. Small is perfect for for a small shih tzu.

This harness works great. I have a very aggressive dog who's nicknamed Houdini.... Real name Chester.Long story longer, we were having trouble finding something this little rascal couldn't escape from. My Grandfather's 3rd cousin's Uncle's nephew's Grandmother used to always tell us, " it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog!" And boy she wasn't lying.Chester or "The Great Houdini" gets out of everyhing. He climbs fences or digs under them. He pees on invisible fence terminals. He backs out of collars, he jumps out, he rolls out. He's even acquired 3 assistants the will help him escape. Namely our three mischievous cats, how he gets them to undo the latches on his collars I have no idea. Also, they are the culprits who showed him how to parkour I'm sure.Anywho, we are going on month 4 now and he has yet to get out of this one. Though I do suspect foul play is in the air as I frequently catch him conversing with the local bird populace now. I usually come home from work and there are 3 or four woodpeckers pecking away on the fence, I suspect Chester is behind this nefarious behavior. Lately blue jays and cardinals have been lining the fence. Are Chester and birds about to take flight? Stayed tuned but so far this collar gets 5 stars from us.

I ordered a large. It was not even close to being able to go around a medium size dog. So for Large “Small” dogs… sort of misleading if you’re not paying attention.

Love the color and it fits my chihuahua terrier mix and does not slip off her.

I originally bought the XS size for my 3 pound puppy and it was way too big for him until he hit hit around five pounds. He's got a really small neck and a bigger chest and the XS still fits him now at 8.4 pounds (he's a toy/min poodle mix), but it's extended in the chest as far as it can go so I decided to go the next size up. The chest adjustment works fine to fit him, but the neck is comically large on him and slips right off. That's not the manufacturer's fault of course, but I would say measure the chest about an inch behind the legs and the neck at the base very carefully, because an inch one way or the other makes a big difference in fit. He's a very balky walker when startled so the harness is a much better choice to avoid injury in those circumstances. I'd never put a collar on him for walking because of that so if you have one of those or a dog who likes to pull, get this harness.

The neck is kind of tight for bigger dogs
