Why are you asking me about the heating problem of the phone? You have put on the battery case, so you can't feel the heat of the phone. Anyway, it works well!

This is an iPhone case that has a back-up battery in it! Mine can extend one charge for up to three days, depending on usage. If you're tired of rapid depletion of your battery, this is for you. Back up charging is automatically triggered as the phone battery depletes. The unit has a four-light charge indicator. The case is very sturdy, and has saved my phone many times from an accidental drop. My old one wore out after five years, and I was delighted to find this one on Amazon!

Though I've only owned this for two days, it appears to function as expected. The only negative point that I would like to share is that the outer shell is very smooth and lacks texture making the attached phone easier to slip from your hand.

Purchased mid-November 2021. By the end of November (as others have reported) the charging port on the device became loose and the charging cord would just fall out of it with the slightest touch or if there were any gravity at all pulling on the cord. Nevertheless, I was still happy because the battery life on the case was phenomenal and really made up for my iPhone 7's poor battery health, so I just was very careful not to disturb the wire while it was charging.Then, in mid-February, I went to turn the charging function of the case on one afternoon to discover that it is no longer making a connection with my phone. I can turn the case "on", and it lights up, but it seems the charging prong built into the case that goes into the phone is no longer transmitting anything to charge it. I hadn't dropped it or anything, and I hadn't taken the phone out of the case for quite a while (and the few times I had done so in the past, I was extremely careful). I tried using it on my wife's iPhone 7 and it doesn't work on hers either. It seems it just stopped working, unfortunately. Would've given it 4 stars because it's a great product minus the charging port issue, but since it stopped working in 3 months time I have to give it a 1-star.

I’ve had this cover for a few months and it’s been convenient to have the extra battery life but I haven’t given it to much thought, until today. I was trying to receive my son’s flip flops which were floating out on the tide and my phone fell out of my pocket into the ocean! It was probably completely submerged for 10 seconds. My husband ended up finding it under the water (Miracle #1) and amazingly it works perfectly fine (Miracle #2)!! Now the case seems to be fried but it gave its life for my phone ❤️ I will be ordering another one.

I use this for my SE 2020 iphone. I bought this case about half a year ago and couldn't imagine not having it at this point. The case offers better protection than I thought. Rarely (less than one a month), the case doesn't charge my phone, I'm pretty certain this is a heat issue.The SE line has pretty putrid battery life, the default ~2000 mAh is not enough for a full day for active users. No one wants to lug around a portable usbC battery. The thickness of this case may be a problem for some but personally it doesn't bother me at all. I would recommend a battery phone case to anyone with an iphone SE.

I wouldn’t say i dislike this, but I am dissatisfied when comparing it to previous cases and I wouldn’t really buy it again.My charger plug fits very loosely to the charging port to where it doesn’t even connect. Just one small movement and the charger plug falls out. Other times it doesn’t even charge both the phone and the charger which is a must have for such a device. And I have to keep restarting my phone in order to activate the case. Today I had to restart it four times already. Sometimes the case won’t even charge at all which makes it a hassle.

2nd one and works for awhile but both quite within about a year.
