I bought two and received on Nov 30. There was loose fleece from the "Sherpa" backing in the package. There was no smell on the two throws I purchased. I put them in the dryer on air fluff to fluff them up (they arrive in a shrink wrapped plastic very condensed). A fair amount more of the "Sherpa" fleece shedded and ended up in the lint trap (again I set it on air fluff with no heat). While I like the size and loft of the microfiber and Sherpa as they are new (it is comfortable and soft) I'm concerned that washing and drying them will cause more shedding. Only time will tell for sure, but right out of the package they are soft and fluffy.

I like the softness of the blanket. It wasn’t heavy or too thin. Medium thickness, which is fine for people who get overheated easily. Worth the price

Thickness, stitching and material all great quality. Perfect for curling up on the couch. The two layers do not separate, which was a big deal to me. They will separate if you make a point to pull them apart but otherwise you’d never know. Highly recommend. I bought two!
