It worked great at close range and it sounded pretty good
It seems that the blue tooth range isin't quite what they say it is, I used this call on 4 stands this weekend during a contest and if I got more than 40 feet away it would break up and get distorted? It worked great at close range and it sounded pretty good, but out here in the west we may need to get some distance from the call if that's the case it loses reception?.Also the decoy would not work with those distances either.I'm not giving up on this call yet but I have my doubts that its a good call for the west, Maybe if you don't have to get far away from the call.Added Comment:I will say that Convergent did reach out to me and took care of my issue with great service. they replaced the unit in with no questions asked and I have used the HP Bullet and several stands and have called in dogs on those stands. Their customer service is some of the best hands down. As for the Bullet it has become my go to caller I plan on using it on this years bear hunt.I'm going to see how it works in the spring time, If not it will be a back up E-Caller.There customer service is hands down one of the best.

Ehh
I didn't keep this for long. The range was awful and that's really what did it for me. 2 stars for the cool compact design.

Buy a Different One.. Awful.
I got sucked in by the hunting videos of this speaker...But trust me, it's nothing special, just a bluetooth speaker with a decoy on the top. It's super loud. You have to twist this big green plastic casing to open it then slide it up as that is how it sits up and you screw a ground stake into it. Every time I've gone to use it it makes so much noise just opening it I'm like wow now the animals will not come anywhere near here! It actually broke open recently and now the whole outer casing is broken off.The bluetooth distance range is not far... at less than 100 yards it goes in and out or doesn't connect. You have to be close and even then sometimes the sound is so choppy that the sounds don't sound authentic. If you don't play a sound within 10 min or so the speaker shuts off and guess what YEP you have to walk back out into the field to turn the dang thing back on.I know someone who is an expert in coyote hunting and he has recommended Fox Pro, so I'm buying that. Cannot wait to try it. Don't buy into this garbage people. I wasted my $ and have only been frustrated.

Poor Battery - Connectivity Issue - Great Customer Service
I purchased this through Amazon and the call came directly new-in-the-box.I've own the call for 3 weeks and have taken it out 3 times. I've read the simple, short instructions twice.I bought it solely for wild boar hunting, nothing else.On the plus side the sounds are terrific, I would rate the calls/sounds A+.Now the negatives, on a full charge the rechargable battery is lasting 60 to 100 minutes, and that is without using the motion decoy. I was expecting the battery to last 5 to 8 hours on a charge. As it is, I'm good for two 30-40 minute set's and then I'm done for the night. Unsatisfactory. The last 5 minutes of battery life the hog sounds like a drunk hog, the volume goes up and down and the sound slows down.Second issue: All 3 times I've used it, the call/speaker dropped Bluetooth connectivity and the speaker would not be recognized. And yes, I have it line-of-sight and only 30-40 feet away. Only after deleting the device, shutting off Bluetooth, and completely powering off the iPhone (about a 12 minute process doing this stuff at night in the dark in a field with headlamp) to get it up and running again. If not for the $250 I paid and the great sounds, I would give up on it. But I reached out to the company and am waiting to see what assistance I'll receive. This was my personal experience, yours may differ. All the best, SAVANNAH WILLUPDATE: The company called me within 1-hour of me emailing them. Outstanding response time. They suspect I have a charge cord issue and are mailing out a new one and suspect my battery issue and connectivity issue will go away once I receive the new charger. The charger should be here in a week and I will update on the issue.UPDATE: 8 days after the company called me I received a new charger. I used it and the Bullet caller is now working properly. Many companies are a "black hole" when you try to call customer service. Difficult to impossible to get a human on the phone and if you leave messages you don't hear back. Not this company.I change my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars and would give 4.5 stars if Amazon allowed it.I recommend the Bullet caller.

SKIP IT. JUST BUY THE APP.
This item is nothing more than an "outdoor" bluetooth speaker. Then they want you to buy the app anyways. Just buy the app (for a fraction of the cost), and use the bluetooth speaker you already have.

Great so far and everything it was advertised as being
I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now with great success. Range has been as advertised with line of sight. In the woods I’ve still gotten 20+ yards. Connection has been consistent too. Follow the instructions and tips and expect no more or less than what it is or advertised as being.

This speaker sucks
This speaker sounds awful if you're playing music or a podcast. The speaker I used to play the Convergent Hog Call on is much better, but as everyone should know now, you need to have this speaker to play the call with bluetooth. So That's the only reason I spend the money. We'll see how long it lasts...
