Great product!!!
This came really fast and there was a lot more leaves than I expected. I caught covid and couldn’t get out of bed. Well my axolotl babies took some damage missing a day of care. The Indian almond leaves should get them back to normal. Couldn’t be happier with this product. Love the instructions as well.

Nice if you want a "leaf litter" looks that doesn't really get eaten
I have about 300 mystery snails between my 8 fishtanks at home and they don't really seem to eat these like I was hoping they would. Neither did the neocaridina shrimp I had for a time. They look great! But I was hoping they'd provide more nutrients for my little tank friends. I was also hoping they'd add more tannins to my tanks but they didn't seem to really break down all that much so I don't feel it improved my water quality the way I wanted them to.

No
It puts no dark water in the tank which makes me think it was over cooked and my fish and shrimp could care less than it's in there.

works
their instructions want you to barely put in any leaves at all. i think i put 1/3 of the bag into my fully planted out 3 gallon punch bowl. the neocardinia shrimp seem to like it, the snails too.

Soak In hot water for a few days to sink and help release the tannins!
I read a bunch of reviews a decided to go with this one anyways, and I’m so glad I did because the package says to boil and rinse before using so I decided to soak them in super hot water changing it a couple times a day and at first the water was a nasty yellow but then on the third day it became that nice color you look for in a black water tank ( the picture is from two hours after a water change in the bowl). I took half the leaves out and put them in the tank and left the rest in the bowl so I could do one gallon water changes and keep the water nice and dark! 10/10 I will definitely be getting more from here soon as I need more!
